AJ & 2015: Map out the ideal plan for him.

Yeah I agree.. starting off 2015 fighting Kingpin to then go onto fighting the likes of Cornish & Rogan would be stepping backwards.

 

I'd like to see AJ in with a big slow plodder after Johnson someone like Ustinov would be perfect, I could see him winning that fight easy aslong as he can do the rounds that is which we'll know against kingpin

 

Yeah I only posted about the British title thing because that seems to be one of his goals. At the end of the day he is young enough to go that route if he wants to and that will better prepare him for the tough tests to come, rather than just jump right up in competition. I do believe he is too good for that level but Cornish is 19-0 and a decent test and a box ticked in terms of fighting an unbeaten fighter, Rogan is a tough guy and could give him some rounds, Towers is a different type of fighter it that he is taller and rangy so that is another box ticked and obviously Chisora is a smaller guy but he is a world class fighter. If he was 30 years old he would jump straight up to fight Ustinov or whoever but he has so much time that he can just look to tick off the boxes and fight every style there is before he steps up to the top competition.

There should be no rush with Joshua, given the fact he had under 40 amateur fights and only took up the sport at 18 as well as him being a relative baby in age in HW terms at just turned 25 - he should be brought along correctly. Not too slow but also not too fast.

Cornish, he's a big guy at 6 foot 7 and has compiled what must be said to be a padded 19-0 record and with no disrespect to him, from what I've seen it would be a complete mismatch.

Again, I like Martin Rogan as a fighter.. always comes to fight, but another mismatch.

Towers, not hot on him either, but I wouldn't be too unhappy about that if it were made in the near future... would see Joshua taking him out.

Talk of Ustinov, Fury, Thompson as upcoming fights for 2015 is a little too early right now as far as I'm concerned.

With Chisora being with Boxnation, not really sure I can see that getting made.
