50-50 in the rematch is more than fair. Asking for more is taking liberties. December 3rd is more than enough time. Asking for another fortnight is just creating problems where there are none. Just get it made FFS.
If they knock it back because 3rd of December is 'too early' then it's a joke. But they will take it.
I think AJ is fair to push back on the rematch terms being 60-40. He is an absolute powerhouse of a draw when it comes down to the financials. 60-40 for the first fight - Fair from Fury. As he holds the belt and is undefeated. BUT if AJ is to win and takes Fury's 0 and WBC belt... then why shouldn't the split be flipped for the rematch.
Agreed - hopefully both sides give a little ground. Joshua’s team accept December 3rd and Fury’s team accept those rematch terms.
Because he doesn't even hold a decent ranking nevermind mandatory position. His so called commercial value is the only chip he has. But Fury is his biggest payday as much as the opposite is true. And the popularity of a thrice defeated post nervous breakdown AJ hasn't actually been established yet. So just accept the fact you are getting the chance to unfairly jump the queue on highly reasonable terms and get it on. Fury is the one taking all the risks here. His other option is to go be a challenger again, paying over the odds to commercially inferior opponents for the next 12-18 months on an app out of sight and out of mind. Then he has to win all those fights and still hope Fury doesn't retire before then. It's time for him to actually be humble rather than just say it. This is highly generous from team Fury. 60-40 then 50-50 is spot on. It's what you would expect to negotiate up to, nevermind it being the opening offer.
14 days are 14 days. What is the problem exactly to fight on the date they already pre-booked a fight??? And isn't it fair the rematch to be 60-40, if there is a rematch???
Also who were Queensberry planning to have as a main event on the 17th December at Cardiff stadium considering they've booked it? Joyce is fighting this month so that rules him. They have no one else that could fill that venue apart Tyson. So surley they booked it for him as an option (which he must agreed to at some point).
I expected this. Tyson Fury was bluffing, he doesn't really want the fight after all. He was just looking for attention.
Tyson Fury came to buy my car after winning an eBay bid. 5 minutes before he was supposed to arrive he called me up and said he'd couldn't make it so arranged another date. On the day he did a lot of tyre kicking and wanted lots of things. We came to agree then while filling in the paperwork he wanted a different price which I didn't agree to. Then he tried to pay me with a cheque which I explicitly told him I would not take. Long story short he bought the car but he took my wife and my other car in the process then left negative feedback on eBay.
