People saying they're happy with this fight, ok but isn't the fight we want to see Usyk v Fury.

I'm expecting Fury to win but the significance of the win has loss massive appeal. Joshua being damaged goods unfortunately. It's no longer a legacy fight.

It's a money fight though. I'm sure Tyson would like to get paid.

I'd agree it's not the legacy fight we want to see, but it's still a legacy fight.

I can get behind this fight whilst Usyk gets the recovery time he apparently wanted. Less so if it becomes a way of aging him out.

Fury will keep throwing out new conditions until the fight falls through. kinda like the half a billion dollars he wanted agreed to within a week to fight Usyk.

He isn't a great self promoter. Brits apparently are incredibly gullible though and buy into everything the clown prince of liars spews.

He makes a point. If AJ isn't ready for a fight I'm 3 months what's he even doing?

If fury pulls out of this due to the dec 17th date he clearly never wanted the fight.

So you don't think it's Fury picking a weakened Joshua coming off two back to back loses?
I've stated in several other threads Joshua needs s few fights at a lower level to get his confidence back.
I don't believe even fighting a physically diminished Fury that he remotely wins as his confidence is clearly shot.
I'm not saying a confident Joshua beats Fury but like in the Usyk fights they would at least have been more competitive.

It’s apparently off, again, due to the date

You think Joshua, having just been beaten, not once but twice, would willfully accept ANY date to fight the undefeated world champion

no matter what date fury offers, Joshua should be thankful for it and and willfully except it.. whatever day Fury says

They’re offering Joshua 40%, and a TWICE freshly defeated fighter doesn’t warrant that ……..and now he’s complaining over the date??

??? This is comical. Joshua is no longer the big British “hot item”, like he thinks he is

I think this was always the plan. If AJ accepts one of the other dates I wouldn't be surprised if Fury comes up with a new excuse. "60/40 for the Gypsy King?? No, 70 /30 take it or leave it dosser, I'm retired anyways"

Del Boy posted a pic of himself with Frank and Bob Arum earlier on instagram story. Unless it's bull**** or maybe a Dubois fight.

It was to be expected that diva Fury would say one thing but then put hurdles to stroke his ego. They probably didn't expect AJ to take that 60/40 first offer. I think AJ and his team knew they'd get no concessions and Fury would try to cut the recovery, training camp as short as possible. He said he doesn't rate AJ yet he has to have a rematch clause. They should take that Dec 3rd date, to further see what Fury is made of. AJ knew they had to make concessions for Fury as the undefeated champ.

In my opinion, if Usyk isn't available, AJ is the next best fight in the division.

I'd love to see Fury vs Usyk and AJ vs Chisora. But Usyk has already ruled himself out so the next best fight to be made is Fury vs AJ.

I do also think AJ has probably never been as good as he was in the rematch with Usyk.

Looks like it may very well happen. Bonanza for a two straight loser like Joshua, who really does not deserve the payday.
