joshua might no be same class as fury but in a fight anything can happen trust me if he puts one on furys kisser he will be in bother joshua can win it trust me on that
It's a voluntary. You're being given a shot. The terms of a rematch clause are decided based on the status of the fighters before the first fight has even taken place. Not after it. So in that sense it doesn't even matter that AJ might be the champ because right now he isn't even ranked! Acknowledge the fact they're doing you a favour. And that you're being given a shot at legacy. AJ didn't grant Ruiz 50-50 nevermind the majority in the rematch. Dillian Whyte got the same treatment. Usyk who was a mandatory not only had to agree to a rematch but also accept mere parity for it despite winning the first at a canter. He has the right to ask for it. That's negotiating. Could it be 50-50? Sure you can make that argument. But to expect it (or even more as in this case) and possibly derail the chances of this fight happening is a joke IMO. Count your blessings.
Remember when Andy Ruiz took on Anthony Joshua late notice on June 1st after fighting on April 20th everyone agrees this was advantageous to Ruiz, coming in active. That's 7 weeks gap. Fury is suggesting Anthony Joshua fight 15 weeks after losing on points to Usyk and are people actually saying this is handicapping Joshua? Seriously?
I'm calling it the way it is - b.c. This is supposedly the biggest fight in boxing. Said by Hearn, said by Warren multiple time, said by Fury himself. So we should expect both guys at least to be fully prepared. Fury has 6+ months to prepare for the fight. He had plenty of time to rest/recover/drunk/do drugs and all the stuffs he do, and still has tons of time to have a full camp. AJ doesn't have that. And i have already answered your question like 10 time. Last time i'm doing it: If AJ decide to let his body rest/recover, as well as he reset it mentally September, and start his camp October he will have 8 weeks camp if the fight is at December 3rd. If it is in December 17th, he will have 10 week camp, which is still not optimal, but way way better than having just 8 week camp. Is that good for you? Still waiting to answer me what is the problem exactly with December 17th ??? AJ accepted Fury term for the split, and also accepted the venue, accepted that Fury team will organize the fight, and he also accepted the rematch clause being just one sided in favor of Fury. Explain to me how is not a reasonable to ask for 2 more weeks, to have a sub-optimal camp. Especially when that was the originally planed date for Fury fight. Explain to me also why Fury decide to change the date for the fight, and suddenly decide that he want to fight in November? Then December 3rd, but not on 17th ?
Ruiz, Whyte and Usyk wouldn't be given 50/50 simply because they're not in the same ballpark as a draw when it comes to AJ and Fury. AJ brings in huge financial clout and if he goes into the rematch as champion, then 60/40 in his favour is spot on.
Yeah cause Ruiz is lazy and fat, and that was a blessing in disguise. He never really busted his **** in hard training. Completely different fighters and scenarios. You heard about fighter routine, that pretty much every fighter has their own ? You don't tell AJ how much his camp should last, same for Fury, same for Usyk, same for Wilder and etc. They have their ways to be in optimal shape.
you're reaching for excuses now. Fury is champion & has now offered to defend his belt in a voluntary defence against AJ on December 3rd. Fury was on radio on September 7th stating as much. It is reasonable by any standard. you are saying it's unreasonable . you are blinded by your hatred for Fury. I suspect AJ will accept the very reasonable offer unless DAZN for some reason prevent it.
so why should others bow to AJ's demands? he's not champion in this case. He's not a mandated challenger. He's a boxer coming off two losses being given a great chance 12 weeks & 2 days from today to get the biggest win of his career! If he wants the fight at all he will agree to it. It's a great offer.
you're biased Fury is offering December 3rd he offering to defend voluntarily against AJ that's over 12 weeks from today plenty of time to get ready and you're saying he's taking the ****? it's a massive opportunity for AJ in every way & quite a huge risk for Fury in career/legacy but you're making out Fury is doing something wrong. It's incredible.
Let's see who is biased? The one that is alright with one fighter being handicaped and one fighter having all the advantages and in 10+ posts refuse to give straight answer to my question, cause he simply doesn't have any logical explanation or me, who actually said this was a smart move by Fury in the very first thread when Fury challenge AJ ? Let's see: This is my first post on the topic: Yet you call me hate, when i gave Fury credits where credit its due ? With what i'm not okay is the b.c. change of the date. It was planned for Fury to fight on December 17th, that is a fact !!! You may try to argue it, this is confirmed. The official contract date is November 12, that is CONFIRMED !!! Then Fury start his usual crying, and said November 26, and December 3th for some reason. And the absolutely legit question is, why he doesn't want to give AJ proper time to rest/recover after hard fight with Usyk, as i already prove, and let AJ have full camp ? Yeah Fury is calling the shot. But AJ request to fight on December 17th, having in mind he had a very hard fought in August 20th, is perfect reasonable. Again do you even know that AJ is still in his rest/recovery phase? How in the blue hell you are counting even past days to make it 12 week camp ? Again he will most probably rest till the end of the month and then start his camp. Also you are not starting your camp from today to tomorrow. This ain't how things work. The fight has to be signed, especially having in mind with who they are dealing, a bipolar lunatic. And again AJ was in hard camp for literally 6+ months. He most probably overdo it as well. He is not 60kg. guy that his body will be ready in 1 week. He is 110kg individual. Obviously he is going to rest, whether you like it or not. Whether you think he should not done it or not. He accepted the fight straight away. Accepted the rules, his request the have proper camp is perfectly reasonable. If Fury really want to make this fight, the fight will happen, as there is no cons for Fury to fight on December 17th, yet for AJ is handicapping him.
Fury is offering Joshua the fight. I've answered all the relevant questions @lordlosh it's Fury doing AJ a big favour here. & he'd offered to fight him on December 3rd. which is 15 weeks after Joshua's last fight and over 12 weeks still from today. You're asking me why Fury cannot bend to Joshua's demands. but I don't care if he does or doesn't. maybe he will. I don't care either way. Fury is the champion making the offer! He's the man proposing a voluntary defence with AJ And it's a reasonable offer. That's all you need to know. Right? The onus isn't on me to prove December 17 is unacceptable or to explain why Fury prefers December 3. The onus is on you to prove December 3 voluntary is unreasonable. I can't remember anyone complaints for poor Deontay Wilder when he faced Fury 13 weeks after his second fight with Ortiz. Lol it's incredible you're so confident AJ can destroy Fury inside 6 rounds but Fury is handicapping Joshua with only 12 weeks notice! Seriously. I think Joshua will take this offer if he wants the fight & is allowed to. It's a great offer.
