You're a clear sucker for boxing propaganda. This single post brings this forum's collective IQ down 50 points
He'll never live that one down. A sculpted Adonis and about 12-1 favourite in the betting, getting clubbed all over the place and virtually made to quit by a disgusting blob.
Right, and technology makes it all the worse. In the past, losses of that magnitude (if there were any) could be forgotten and the loser could slink into virtual obscurity, now they are trolled relentlessly, the videos are repeated endlessly on social media and everyone sees or hears about it. Every time AJ walks around in public, people see him as "the bodybuilder who got trashed and made to quit by that obese Mexican midget". He sees it in their eyes and hears in the tone of their voices. Lennox Lewis was a better fighter and tougher mentally than AJ but even he took several fights to recover his confidence from the Oliver McCall defeat, and that was a far less embarrassing loss against an opponent who looked the part in the pre-internet age. He also didn't have to fight an opponent anywhere remotely close to the the calibre of Fury in the fights up to the McCall rematch.
