Why do dumb ppl keep bring up wallin for? Like it wasn't one sided even with that horrendous cut. Rollseyes
I don't hate AJ But people need to understand small little things like this matter. Mentality is almost everything in boxing. You can project without even realizing it. case point in example. Wlad kept opening lots of holes for Fury to pick apart. Wilder was unneedingly emotional & personal at times. AJ saying things like this. It all matters. Otto Wallin was stone cold when he came to fight Fury. He didn't fear or buy into anything Fury said to him. Fury picks up on these details. I think AJ has a strong mentality, I don't think he gets as nervous as Wilder does pre-fight...but I think he has seeds of doubt which he displays with his words. Fury feeds off any kind of weaknesses you give off. You know what Fury hates? quiet fighters who turn up to fight. Eastern Europeons who don't get dragged into his war of words.
Are you the new Aydamn? Joshua is taking an obvious shot at Fury. Joshua turned pro 5 years after Fury, but beat Wlad just the same, only about 14 months after Fury. He is highlighting the fact that he rose to prominence faster than Fury.
Joshua actually makes a solid point ..... EXCEPT the conclusion he draws from the facts are the opposite of where the facts point towards. I mean, YES, Fury turned professional back in 2008 .... so he's been professional for 12 years ..... AND he took that layoff where he abused his body and got fat and depressed, grossly out of shape ....... so what does that mean ? It means Fury's probably an OLD 32 now. 12 years veteran professional and he's aged himself with bad lifestyle and inactivity. In all likelihood he's passing out of his prime. And it's a miracle that he ever came back. He's on borrowed time. Joshua turned pro in 2013, seven years ago .... and is a fitness fanatic who's always stayed in shape .... he turns 31 next month .... he's got a lot of experience against ranked fighters in his 24 fights, so he's a textbook example of a "prime heavyweight" who would be expected to maintain his peak ability for some years to come. If we base it on what is generally the case, based on all the heavyweight fighters who've come before, Joshua seems to be at the advantage there, in terms of timing.
Dunno if this really means anything. All people are different and react differently to sutuations they put their body under. Duran would party like crazy and had war after war yet boxed for 30 years and was fighting at world level for most of them. Leonard was a coke head for mist of his career, took years off and still was able to come back and be successful up till his late 30s. Other fighters bodys break down and they lose years. Sometimes its a mental thing, theres nothing to suggest Fury cant box on till his late 30s, he hasnt had a load of fights and he recovered well from.his two year binge and has got back to the top and is in great shape now.

I think you may be right. From what I've seen here Fury is living in his head rent-free and for me, this doesn't inspire much confidence in AJ where it concerns this fight (although I'm no less looking forward to it.)
The bodybuilder Joshua will wait until Fury is old like Wlad, before he challenges him. Same thing with Deontay. Eddie and his motley crew have been planning it all along.
