He could but that fight does not generate the $50m back for him. The big difference is the Saudi will pay it just because they can and will throw $50m at it. Jerry Jones ain’t going to throw $50m at just for the sake of it. Only place that might work is Vegas but even then they are counting on 100,000 Brit tourists turning up during a pandemic

    Pathetic backtracking on your end.

You "AJ wanted nothing to do with Wilder!"
    > AJ offered Wilder more money to fight him instead of Fury...
You "Wilder chose the bigger fish!"

    Pathetic

Dont see that level of slimy shifting every day.

Dead right there man, Joshua has overpaid nearly every opponent to date he’s been the one bringing the crowds and filling the stadiums, the wilder offer was over the odds too, wilder chose fury as he thought he was less risk due to his past abuses of his body.
I don’t know much about boxing contracts but I think it’s fair to say that someone could offer a 100 million dollar contract to their opponent and the details would make the offer unacceptable, but they could still say that they offered a 100 million.
No one really knows the facts but based on probability due to both fighters past bouts I’d say wilder didn’t want any of aj.
Now he’s got a long road back and his bad form and outbursts mean it’s going to be even harder for him.

I'm starting to think Fury doesn't want this fight.

And admitted as much after. Fury was the ultimate cherry pick gone wrong for Wilder. Wilder may very well have chose AJ if he didn’t think Fury was finished

100 percent Wilder thought Fury was a cherry pick. Wilder got so close to his cash out and it slipped through his fingers. The verdict is out on him now. It will be much harder for him to win.

Honestly, I think this is the case. This will be the biggest HW fight since Tyson/Lewis.

Still running with the theory and going off on a tangent too, with nothing to back it up. Not sure how it is surprising that Wilder and Fury fought eachother twice when Wilder ducked AJ, took the fight with an out of shape Fury and had it in the contract that there had to be a rematch, quite easy to see how those fights happened first.

This whole narrative of wilder fighting fury only because he knew that he was 40% is absolutely stupid. Wilder than fought fury the second time knowing that he would be in way better shape than the first time around, he could have walked away from the first fight claiming that the draw was a bad decision and that he actually koed fury.

Wilder then fought Fury a second time because they had a contract and he felt he won the first. He took the fight the first time because Fury was out of shape

Jones just threw $160,000,000 on his quarterback! Bad move IMO.
