This Banal kid has the potential to go big in this sport, it might not be as close Pac had achieve but a bit more promising than any fighters that Philippines could bring. I believe he won't end up like Bautista who I think just an overhyped boxer.

I like him too, The best straight left since Pac. He'll beat Larios.

He is the best "young" prospect in the world 2 years ago..just dont rush him..he may not be as exciting as PAC but his mechanics is miles ahead at only 19...He needed a deep fight against a a game fighter like this. And I though he had power.

Every time I see his name in print at first glance it appears to be B.J. Anal. Now that would be a hell of a name!

After seeing the whole fight, I'm more impressed with AJ now. He has the maturity & slickfullness & defensive skills of Penalosa, The offensive skills of Mijares, The constant Pressure of Cotto, everything textbook, Perfect balance, Can punch on every angle, Straight, Left hook, Right hook, Jab, Uppercut in both hands, Power in both hands, Knows how to counter, Can fight backwards or Forward, never been in trouble against very good opponents,

He doesn't have Pacman Power but he is close. I'm projecting him to be as Great as Elorde once he's done with his career. He'll surpass Penalosa but not Pacquiao(Nobody will).

I think Banal will Dethrone Montiel Next year. I think he's ready. He's more impressive than any of the title contenders I've seen in the lower wt class last 2 years.

HBO should put Banal in the televised undercard of DLH's next fight. The world need to see this Kid.

When Pac was that age (or even younger) he was already very relentless.

Banal reminds me of Penalosa, maybe a bit more aggressive version of Penalosa.

His records says he's no KO puncher. But he's quick & sharp just Z gorres. I like more the complete Package like AJ & Concepcion
