Joyce started boxing at 22 I believe in 2007. Joshua actually started boxing that same year, so when they fought in the amateurs they had been boxing a similar length of time. But obviously boxers don't progress at the same rate, Tyson peaked in his early 20's, Lewis didn't peak until his 30's. So we shouldn't look into their amateur bout as an indication of how they would do know, especially as Joshua seems to be far too tentative now to put the kind of beat down on Joyce like he did in the ams. But I'd still favour Joshua if they fought now.
What do you mean? I've seen a very brief bit of footage of them in the ring together but I can't remember if it was sparring footage of footage of their amateur bout. They apparently did fight in the amateurs but it wasn't listed on their records back when I checked
I wouldn't bet on that. Joyce has ZERO defense and AJ can hit. AJ is just a better boxer than Slow Joe. Joe can't box for ****. He's tough, good power and stamina.
aj is a quitter. He's a bodybuilder who struggled with an old Helenius. He'll fold under the constant pressure and workrate
