Yes it was a great gesture but the camera crew was awful. It’s like Drake handing stacks of cash out to people but documenting it in a music video. Have some decorum.

David Haye donated a six figure sum to Nick Blackwell and also gave him further support and it was barely documented, most people aren’t even aware of this. Yet Haye is the one with a poor reputation as a “money grabbing attention seeker”...

I was unaware on David Haye doing that. Fair play.

I absolutely hate it when people publicise charitable giving. If you feel passionately about a charities cause etc you should not need any recognition.

For me the car was gift was extremely fake. Great PR fortunately though

Exactly, in other words he's a fake. He's acting differently when the cameras are on.

With Fury what you see is what you get. He doesn't ask to be a role model like Joshua does.

No but he does cry and scream when people get on his ass for racist, homophobic, sexist rants

Joshua is trying to be better than his upbringing and deserves credit for that

And you know this how??? The only thing we see from public figures is what gets put out in the media. Everything else is simply speculation.

I can say that Joshua is the best thing since JC but it is simply an opinion. It is neither right nor wrong. The boxer X acts like a dick so he is being real but boxer Y acts like a normal human being so must be fake is just a total heap of crap. Largely pushed by people who are dickheads anyway.

All boxers have to be savages in the ring if they want to achieve something. Behaviour outside the ring is a choice. Fury and Wilder act like dickheads because they are dickheads. Its not more complex than that.

Joshua tried his best to show everyone what he’s really like last year with the Eddie Chambers thing.

Add to that his frequent Snapchat stories (which I don’t think are engineered by Matchroom unlike his Instagram/Twitter/Facebook) of him watching documentaries of questionable characters and you can see what he’s really like.

He’s a fake - but extremely marketable and Matchroom have done a great job promoting him.

    You will be surprised.

This theory sounds logical, but what actually happens nearly everytime in this scenario is the person (millionaire boxer in this example) working and the money is a secondary reason.

Everyone needs a reason to get out of bed in the morning, motivation.

Whether the boxer goes into coaching, promoting, punditry. They will do something, and it won’t necessarily be for the money.

Carl Froch for example. No way he’s short of a few quid.

“Not many people get that respect off me, we’re rough boys”
Why not you fake dick head, calls himself a role model with his “ if I can do it you can do it” shite and then says he doesn’t respect people.

Can’t wait til he gets knocked out, just gutted it’s going to come when his hype has slowed down.

Goes in line with his prejudiced tweet to Chambers about supremacy.

This guy has no respect for a certain demographic.

What's funny is that he used the excuse of not fighting in the U.S against Wilder for 80 mil because he felt he ''owed it to his fans'' to have the fight take place in the uk.

    He didn’t use the excuse.

He stated clearly in the ring after the Parker fight that he weren’t going to fight in the USA it had to be in the UK. That was before any imaginary offer came in which has since been proven to be unviable as they were asking BT and Frank to put the money up and show it! When Joshua is contracted to sky.

Havea word with yourself and stop spouting MR pr. bollocks

He was more than up for the idea of ''taking over America" until the bomb squad met his demands and came up with the 50 mil which he asked for.

Lets deal in facts rather than opinion.

These Quotes are from May after Wilder and his team tabled the 50 million offer which was in April

''Anthony Joshua will turn down £37m to fight Deontay Wilder in the US and insist it takes place in Britain''

"One thing is for absolute certain, AJ wants Wilder next," Hearn said. "He’s made that clear. He also feels though, after talking to Rob McCracken, his trainer and manager, that this is a fight that should be delivered in the UK. One for the fans and two, he feels like he’s earned that right."

AJ on why he can't fight in America without his protection as he only feels safe fighting in the uk

So with this Las Vegas talk, I owe it to everyone in Great Britain that has been supporting me to do my best to get this fight in the UK, in my opinion, that’s number one.

“He [Wilder] has kind of said ‘alright, cool, come fight me in America’. But the thing is with that, I owe it to the fans and everyone supporting me to do it here.

“And number two, if I go there, there’s a lot of tricks that they play in terms of referees and judges and that’s why I want to be at home where I’m secure.

This is months earlier before negotiations with Wilder's team got serious

This is in Feburary before the Parker Fight

Anthony Joshua’s attempt to crack America could begin with Jarrell Miller showdown, says Eddie Hearn

"I am not sure if the US is imminent but I would expect him to box in America in the next 12 months."

I'd love to see Anthony box in New York next and the Barclays Center is our home. Obviously to fight a kid out of Brooklyn like Jarrell Miller makes a lot of sense and he's a great talker.

If the Wilder fight doesn't happen then Miller could well be next.”

Post fight. What did Joshua say after the Parker fight in the ring? Before any “offer” was ever made. That’s no pr, that’s not some disguised journalism or back handed commented. The video is there for everyone to see.

Joshua has turned his life around a bit too since his drug dealing days, don't you think?
