Given that would have been made with the expectation this was launching DAZN PPV in the UK. How far behind are DAZN on this deal? AJ will always have a market, but getting beat 3 times, acting a brat and fighting in Saudi/US recently. How much of his value is gone?
We’ve just seen a heavyweight war and a great card, and 20 minutes later we see a thread designed to talk about the potential downfall / current downfall of Hearn, Matchroom and DAZN. Come on guys.
DAZN must have a clause in the contract. I think AJ will fight Whyte on PPV and then have another fight before getting a shot at a vacant world title.
I understand that, it wasn’t a great like. To be fair to Joshua he boxed a much better fight and hurt Usyk at times. It’s hard to hit a fighter like Usyk, if he has the hunger he can come back against any top fighter and throw himself back into contention. I think he’ll have a big fight in the US now.
The only fight he can make in the U.S. that will draw any attention is Wilder. Only hardcore boxing fans have Dazn and pretty much nobody in the U.S. would recognize AJ if they saw him in the street. They’d figure he was a football player or something. But his name and ‘brand’ have no real value in the U.S.
