Yeah, I thought it was obvious in the other direction. AJ's losses are big and AJ fought old/ancient forms of Povetkin, Klitschko, Takam, and Pulev, then many of those you listed are not worth even listing.

    Old/ancient
    Pulev
    Takam
    Povetkin
    Klitschko

    Garbage:
    Breazeale
    Molina
    Martin

For fresh, prime wins, you have:

    Parker, Ruiz, Whyte
    vs
    Wilderx2, Chisorax2, Wallin

Which I consider obviously favoring Fury, and that's not even considering that Fury fought a younger, fresher Wlad. Then add in a controversial draw versus getting completely stomped by Ruiz and Usyk.

Was he levels above Molina and Breazeale then? Doubtful. He was also worth something before he gave up and became a journeyman you know.

AJ's best win is Joseph Parker, and he has two losses, one of which he QUIT in.

Of course he wants Fury's resume. The fact that this is even a discussion shows how rabid and out of control the AJ fanboys and the Fury haters are.

Fury's resume is not great. If Wilder can fight someone like Whyte, Parker, Ruiz then we can get a better idea, because Fury and Wilder's most defining fights are against each other.

If Wilder can beat some decent fighters then Fury's resume improves, unless he unifies with Usyk or AJ.

Aside from power Ruiz is much better than Wilder. Wilder a man that made Fury dig deep by having to get up off the canvas not once, not twice, not 3 times, but 4 times. Considering how limited Wilder is, it amazes me that Fury was dropped so many times. If Wilder was as skilled as Ruiz, he'd of dusted Fury. Ruiz isn't as terrible as you guys make him out to be.

    No he wasn't.

I'm sure his claim to fame was Holmes trained him. He never came to win, always to survive.

If Fury and AJ retired tomorrow.

AJ will have the greater legacy.

You'd be wrong as he did at that stage of his career. Then he totally packed it in mentally not long after his title aspirations disappeared.

Ruiz would barely land a glove on Fury.
Ruiz is a very good fighter. Yes, he has skills. But he's too short and stubby to pose much threat to Fury.
Wilder is more powerful and more long range.

Wilder put Fury down 4 times over the course of 30 rounds total.
Wilder can punch and Fury was very reckless and was rusty the other night.
These things happen. Ruiz was down two times himself in his last fight.

No, he was never a contender. He was known as being durable with a shockingly low output.
