No chance. 1-2's all day don't cut it at the elite level. Face someone AJ, or become the UK Wilder. :deal
But Mansour hits VERY hard. He KO'd few opponents cold for few minutes, last one was Kassi who arguably beat Breseale and Arreola and never was hurt vs them.
He becomes the UK Wilder, when he fights the likes of Jason Gavern in his 32 th professional fight. So far he's at the same level as Wlad or even Mike Tyson, when they were at this step of their career, around 17 fights.
He is allegedly defending a "world championship," but picked a guy who is only top 30-40 material. In the meantime, his corner has now said twice that he is not ready for Fury, the real champ. He is the UK Wilder. He is holding a belt hostage. I actually like he guy on a certain level so I give him one more chance as a fan. But the next guy has to be credible. No more punching bags.
Mansour clearly hit hard and has a far more aggressive style than Joshua, just because Mansour dropped him sooner than AJ doesn't mean he hits harder. Lewis took 5 rounds to stop Briggs, does Darrol Wilson hit harder than Lewis because he took Briggs out in 3 rounds? How about Joseph Chingangu does he hit as hard as Vitali as they both took Hide out in 2 rounds? Does Lamon Brewster hit harder than Mike Tyson because he took Golota out faster than Tyson? Mansour may hit harder than Joshua, but we'd need more than just one comparison to know with any certainty.
Mansour puts EVERYTHING into his punches and as a result tires himself out. Joshua was smart to not overexert himself and wait for the KO to come.
Congratulations to AJ. He put a methodical beatdown on Brazeale. I look forward to watching his career progress from here.
Yeah, that. If he was more impatient he could've pounced & finished Breazy in I think the 2nd when his legs went, but he didn't take that risk.
Or he could've punching his self out or gave breazy some openings & ended up with a ****ed up mouth & quit on his stool. He was never gonna get breazy out of there early
