I watched the gloves are off. Joshua does come across as unsure of himself. Ruiz comes across as confident in getting the win again.
That's my conspiracy theory as well. Joshua was without his PEDs in this first fight. Maybe his team wasnt sure they could get away with it fighting in the US. With them he can out physical people. Without them he has to rely on his boxing ability which is mediocre. They will rematch in Saudi Arabia and Joshua will come into the fight juiced to the gills. He might knock Ruiz out during the pre fight glove touch up due to all the juice flowing through his veins.
Fast Eddie, has his Matchroom scientists brewing up a special reserve PED batch, code name venom, to be pumped directly into AJ’s veins. This turns AJ into an angry piece of meat with veins.
He shouldn't look right, he's been humbled with a devastating loss and and now has his biggest challenge in front of him. He looks exactly how a human should given how much is at stake for him.
This has to do with the jab. If AJ can develop his jab and counter when Ruiz steps in he can stop him no problem. If AJ is going to be a long term champion he has to beat guys like Ruiz who is not that great. Fast hands, but not that great. Tyson would have demolished him in one or two. I want to add the key is for AJ to have an answer for the punches after he could get hurt. Hold on block something. He has to answer for that. I would have liked to have seen Joshua get a few fights in to work on how to fight Ruiz.. Tune ups.. he is rushing back.. This is about using that height and right hand and knocking the heck out of the shorter guy. Fighting tall and taking care of him early.
Come on. If you squat 4 plates (180kg/400lbs) for a decent number of reps and are lean, you will have that kind of visible musculature when you're planting it or flexing. Mr Universe is NABBA and Mr Olympia is IFBB, by the way.
