Just heard an interview with AJ where he basically says he's in two minds about fighting Wilder in 2018. He says one side of him wants to get in there with him and the other is thinking about the longetivity of his career and whether the timing is right to take that fight. Sounds like a duck but I wont say it definitely is, however I wont be expecting him to take that big unification fight next year, it will probably be Pulev, Parker then another top 10 contender. Thoughts?
Wilder is more of a ducker than AJ. AJ fought the best in the division WLAD and won. Don't think AJ is too scared of someone who hasn't stepped up in nearly 40 fights
Didn't say he was scared, he just probably sees it as high risk low reward. Wlad weren't the best in the division when AJ fought, he was when Tyson fury fought him, but he was out the ring for two years and 40 years old but I still rate the win because he is still a top name.
It's all about the money, Joshua is basically telling Wilder that he'll need to take a very small % to make the fight.
Wilder didnt even want to fight Whyte for a career high payday, yeet AJ is a ducker ? Come on man. The bottom line is Wilder didnt do anything to deserve fighting the cash cow of the division
AJ sounds shook, it's going to be a challenge for Wilder to get him into the ring. Yeah any fight with Wilder is high risk but he's also high reward. He'd get a bigger cut than he got against Vlad and the fight would at least do that type of business at minimum. High reward far as legacy goes. He has already bought enough time. AJ shouldn't be allowed to have ***** ass excuses to avoid the fight everybody wants to see asap.
Probably letting Wilder know he's not guaranteed the payday... Maybe suggesting he needs to do more to earn his cut.
Wilder brings nothing to the table except the green belt... The fight won't get made because Wilder will expect 50/50 like AJ-Wlad.
Some of you guys sound like you work for AJ, I like both guys but I don't care what has to happen long as the fight gets made. Wilder has made it clear he wants to fight AJ, whereas AJ doesn't sound sure, if Wilder is as rubbish as most of you guys say AJ should blast him out quick and take that green strap.
