Wilder doesn't seem to be playing poker to me, he seems to only want big fights or bum fights nothing in between. I think the only fights he wants are against Parker and AJ now if he can't get them he will fight someone like Helenius, and avoid the Whytes, Millers and Breazeale of the division.

Probably reverse psychology if anything or pretending not to be interested ! Surely he wants to spark Wilder. Or perhaps he just sees him as that **** and irrelevant that he just cant be arsed !

I agree a lot of dumb Joshua fans worry about Wilder for some reason. After they both fight it will be called a complete mismatch though. I hope the fight happens next, much better fights out there for Joshua.

I don't blame Joshua. He hasn't even had 20 fights yet, so no need to jump the gun. He still needs more fights and needs to find a consistent weight where he isn't too heavy, but still maintains his power. Right now his stamina problems are a huge weakness against Wilder, who has great stamina. But, Joshua is still young a can work on that if his team doesn't get impatient.

It's purely about the money. Wilder has done very little thus far to make him marketable to the British public. On the other hand he has a massive ego and thinks he's God's gift to boxing, so he'll demand way more than he's likely going to generate. Joshua knows this and doesn't consider it worth the risk to go for.

Lol great trolling. Whats high reward about Wilder?? Hes ****. No money coming from him as he cant draw ****, and definitely not taking a good and respected name, its just the belt. He wont even fight AJ's leftovers in Whyte pmsl, the best way to force a fight if he really wanted it( with AJ) over here in the UK, let the casuals get to know him then he fights AJ. Obviously its in England as hes only getting 1 million a fight over there. He knows or is unsure with Whyte !

AJ doesn’t fear Wilder. He knows the fight, the event and the payday grows greater the longer they wait. He’s dilemma is wether to cash out before Wilder gets sparked. Once AJ has all the belts, it’s going to be a long time before he has a big super fight

He says “Im not gonna just fight anyone to put on a good show for the promoter” Seems like a jab at Eddie Hearn because Hearn said he guarantees he will make the AJ vs Wilder in 2018.

AJ seems to be saying that he’s gonna take his career how he wants, not how his promoter wants. I noticed he’s distancing himself from matchroom lately.. He says stuff like my fights will be announced on AJBXING.com whereas before he used to say Hearn will announce it.. I have a feeling he will be leaving Hearn soon to promote himself.

He needs to fight Wilder in 2018! He's a champ.. he should be fighting the best. Willder has been calling him out like crazy but AJ is like maybe 2019, maybe 2020! This isnt a good look.. A fighter should want to fight the best and not talk about taking time.

Wilder and his dumb fanboys don't understand business... Hearn offered him Whyte and $4m in an attempt to BUILD a future showdown - Wilder and his team turned it down and went back to fighting no hopes.

If he leaves Hearn he wont get the same cross promotion as Hearn will do now in the States and the Uk.Plus i agree with you,he is certainly distancing himself, probably because he knows he is Hearns main man by a mile, and the money man at Matchroom,so he is the only one who can maybe get too big for his boots. Is that why Hearn is now operating in the US as a backup,if as you saw with Frampton and the Mcguigans, they fall out.But AJ should be very grateful to Eddie,if he was with Warren he definitely would not be what/and where he is now in terms of how known and marketable he is,Eddie has guided him brilliantly.

Good post very fair, I think AJ is ready to fight Wilder though, he is a more polished fighter than Wilder and has progressed quicker in a shorter space of time. I think both their weaknesses is what makes this fight intriguing.

Boxing is his profession and he want to make the most money as he can for his time..

All Wilder has to do is start getting his profile up to AJ level and he really need to fight someone good.

Letting the WBC to protect you from any dangerous fights isn't going to get him any money fights with AJ or Parker.

If Wilder was serious he would drop that WBC belt and go out and fight Ortiz and Povetkin show us he had nothing to do with those two set ups...

Higher reward for being a serious threat and if you deny that then you're just a sorry fanboy. AJ is treating Wilder as the dangerous threat he is. Very easy to sell tickets for this though I'm sure you'll pretend otherwise.

If you believe this then why not now instead of the conciliatory talk about waiting until the time is right? Easy pickings then fight now. They know that's not the case. AJ trying to buy some time for yet more experience that he feels he needs which isn't legitimate with holding 2 belts, even less so after he knocks out Pulev.

    TL/DR

    Wilder good. Everyone else bad.

    Why? Because I like him!
