I know. I was just playing along. :cool1:

Still, while the money definitely not there in terms of purse money on national tv, the exposure and increased public accessibility would surely be greater.

Lets hope Wilder insistence on VADA testing, doesn't discourage Anthony Joshua

A compromise can still be made, with Anthony Joshua doing less invasive testing instead of VADA

Its all about business. The fight will be worth more down the line.

I agree, as sad as it is at times a large part of Boxing is business, I do understand that, we got and still get told this (for example) by Mayweather fans and Canelo fans.

Mayweather was excused fighting a man without a single professional boxing match, a complete and utter novice in his 50th fight and they celebrated the win, I think that was embarrassing and damaging to boxing. Mayweather is a great fighter, no doubt, but in my opinion he conned the boxing world, it was a huge money grab and people loved it and forgave him.

Also, according to some of these fans.. Canelo was right to vacate a world title and not fight his mandatory (Golovkin) because it was a "smart business move", can you imagine if Joshua dropped his world titles to not fight Wilder for business reasons?

These boards would melt down with thread after thread about Joshua ducking Wilder by the very same people who claimed Canelo made a "smart business move".

The double standards on here are embarrassing. Joshua was accused of ducking Wilder because he has mandatory commitments, Joshua has no choice if he wants to remain a world champion.

The fact is a world title (or titles) at heavyweight for Joshua puts millions of pounds on a fight, that's a real business move, a sensible business move but like I said Joshua was accused of ducking Wilder and Ortiz.

So what do we get? We get Wilder jumping on twitter, insta, snapchat or whatever, shouting his mouth off, calling people out, slaughtering past fighters and his fans take that as a sign he means business, he actually wants big fights but he turns down a career high payday against Whyte and then ends up fighting STIVERNE and Wilder fans do not understand why Wilder is ridiculed and then have the audacity to claim Joshua and the rest of the top heavyweights in the division are ducking him.

It's beyond stupidity, it actually defies logic, it's once again boxing fans (Wilder fans) just getting involved in back and fourths with other fans and not being honest enough to admit what they see in front of them because they don't want to lose face.

So you're saying AJ/Wilder would not fill a soccer stadium in the UK and get 1.5 million ppv buys? AJ just doesn't want that smoke. Cut the fanboy **** and get real for once.

Folks want to see this fight ASAP, after Pulev the slate is clean, but AJ is talking about ducking Wilder in 2018 because he claims to be not ready. Once Pulev is taken care of that's where the potential ducking will take place. Most are aware AJ has a mandatory but what about after that?

What you're talking about is bull**** semantics, people are calling for this fight as soon as possible, which is 2018. Whether they know about AJ's mandatory or not is irrelevant.

You're full of ****, you talk about AJ having to fight a mandatory but then you ignore Wilder has obligations as well. Fanboy hypocritical nonsense is what you spew out. Nobody wants to see AJ/Pulev either you hypocrite. Nobody is ducking Whyte either, pretending to rate him is funny.

Interview clearly shows otherwise and Joshua just stating he will follow his coaches/manager instructions.Meanwhile you had more uproar with a simple interview compared to a guy who is 38 and 0 and no top ten opponent yet? This is the boxing world unfortunatley.

Joshua doesnt need mapping out like other HW's before him at this point. As a matter of fact he doesnt need any improvements and could stay as is his entire career and wipe this entire era out with ease. But the fact he will improve is going to be not so good for everyone whos currently and in the near future going to step in the ring with him.

His team is basically Eddie Hearn who put him in with klitchko while joshua was still green,do you really think he wont with wilder now?Come'on......makes absolutley no sense...lol

    Joshua vs Wilder 2018!

Funny you say AJ vs Wilder 2018 but you twist and turn yourself to explain AJ's comments about possibly delaying the fight past 2018, and by doing that you're giving them a pass. I don't think you really want this fight ASAP otherwise your tone would be different. We don't have to accept the boxing politics nonsense coming out of AJ's mouth. That doesn't benefit us as consumers.

Thats bc anyone with decent IQ would actually LISTEN to the interview.I dont need to twist anything when joshua says first he would fight wilder next year if it fits in with his teams plans.....

This is why wilders career is basically garbage.HIS team has done terrible match making, making sure he was SLOWLY developed ,Klitchko gone and hand picked journyman level too c level fighters. Stiverne right now is about C isnt he?Maenwhile that bum Pulev who is a B level fighter fights Joshua..the nerve of Joshua doing this? lol

so what have the boxing fans got out of Wilders career so far? Please enlighten me,bc i must have missed something? What have we benefitted from?

He Wants wilder to make a bigger name for himself in the USA and UK. the only markets worth anything really to joshua.

    I understand that.

but would be nice to try and get Joshua all, if not most of the belts.

    God save the queen

Your deflection game is weak. **** his team's plans, what do you want? You'll say anything to deflect from demanding AJ/Wilder asap. You really don't want this fight, too bad you don't have the balls to admit it.

Wilder needs Joshua but Joshua doesn`t need Wilder. Wilder can`t draw flies to the dump. He needs to beat a credible opponent and do it in style to earn a shot at the champion.
