Completely normal behaviour. Has it occurred to you that maybe Joshua had a slight neck strain and that's why he was getting the massage there and in the ring?
So adding strange music to a video means he's not right. Please. Cut the excuses. He got knocked out.
Most likely he was concussed from sparring as rumored. Gum shield out before start, massages galore, looking starry eyed/dazed just to name a few of the observations made by many. Even so he managed to drop Ruiz for the first time in his career while only being at 30%
Looks distracted but no excuses! He has made none so lets leave it there and give credit to Ruiz. AJ gets the chance to redeem himself in the rematch.
Highly doubt there was any of that, I think he was nervous due to first fight in America and once he knocked Ruiz down wanted to make a spectacular statement and got caught. Nothing else to it.
When a big name is losing (Klitsckho, Joshua, Pacquiao, McGregor etc.) why people are keep looking for excuses? Why can’t just give credit to the opponent? Boxing is a sport for God’s sake, and there has to be a winner and a loser. Not always the favourite wins. He or his him team are not making excuses, why you have to? If he is the better fighter he can prove it in the rematch.
Also, it’s absolutely normal if a fighter is a bit nervous before the fight in the dressing room. I was watching Canelo and Golovkin dressing room videos before both fights and both of them were stressed and nervous as ****. We can’t even imagine the pressure they have to deal with.
I'll preface this by saying that I am not a Joshua fan. I neither like nor dislike him. That said, it's pretty obvious to me that he didn't take Andy Ruiz seriously. And the magnitude of MSG/American debut probably had him more than a little shook.
Nah, worse that I can see is his bottle went, hes trying to disguise nerves it seems to me. If he was only 30% he wouldn't be able to walk to the ring, he was 100% fit ready to go but his bottle went and threw everything off
Lol righto, you might have to check his record. If Ruiz really believed Parker was an easy beat then he wouldn't have said he won't fight Parker again after he got the belts - despite it being his only loss on his record and one you'd think he'd want to avenge if he felt he could. The funniest thing about this is I said before this fight, and the AJ vs Parker fight that both Ruiz and Parker would give AJ more of a fight than most would expect and predicted that people would convince themselves AJ took it easy or was having an off night instead of just reassess where they thought the levels were. Funny old world.
