Nice to see somebody helping out. Credit to the man, he didnt have to do anything. Hopefully more will follow suit.
A few on here said the bigger names in boxing should be leading the way and somebody has done so. Hopefully more follow and get involved with backing the sport! It’s a shame the government hasn’t done more but won’t start on politics.
no. he feels guilty as he insisted on the PPV price point and stuff vs pulev. If the rumours where correct from frank smith matchroom was not sure on the PPV price, SKy didn't want it as they already got a lot of backlash for the whyte vs poevetkin. AJs team wanted the ££££ per fight bandwagon. So no, i wont congratulate him as the savour of boxing. He forgets he is living OFF THE TAX PAYER training in the sheffield EIS for olympic athletes and he gets exclusive access as rob mckraken is/was head amatruer olympic boxing head honcho. This is funded by the British taxpayers as the yearly budget for GB Olympic Squad. If anyone else (other than AJ), ask to train in the state of the art facilities they get told its "Not for professional boxers, or anyone not in the GB squad". They cover it up to say he is visiting helping the GB squad (he trains when nobody is there!) but he been doing full training camps for years!!
Fair play!!! Fury lovers will recall him saying he was giving a full fight purse to charity... dont think he did?!?!?
Some people just love to moan and find negativity in everything..... Take your bitter goggles off and give credit where it's due, whether you are a fan of AJ or not. Great gesture.
Big up AJ. Let's just celebrate the fact that this helps the young kids coming through. Boxing changes young people's lives, from the ground up.
