If he said that, then yeah, bit of a hypocrite there... at that point he thought I would never do that because im the biggest baddest man, then he got humbled by Ruiz and he learned why people fight like that at some point.

Yep, happy hypo kinda stuff from Joshua. But be fair here, there's still a big gap between what Joshua did against Jr as what Fury did against Wlad. Fury basically won an all time stinker staring contest, as little action that was.

There's a big difference between the two, which actually increases Joshua's hypocrisy in massive degree.

Fury defensively boxed the most destructive puncher in all of boxing at that time, who was riding a huge winning streak too. It's understandable he did that, particularly not being a KO-artist. Gettign into a fire-fight with Wlad was downright stupid, nevertheless he did that too in the last two rounds.

Joshua defensively boxed a small fat man with nowhere near the destructive power of Wlad and nowhere near the skill. And Joshua did that while having the power ADVANTAGE, while being a KO-artist, the complete opposite of Fury's case. That makes Joshua's 'run job' far worse!

They’re respective performances aren’t even remotely the same

Fury never attempts to hurt his opponent, he’s solely intent on staying away, flicking out arm punches and film flamming his way through 12 rounds. He’s doing no more than frustrating his opponent with feinting and shimmying there is zero intent to ever plant his feet and land anything meaningful.

Throughout the Ruiz v Joshua fight AJ consistently landed big lefts & rights as well as a heavy jab, not the wrist flick that Fury employs.

Not the same type of performance at all!

Lets be honest Fury would not fight Ruiz toe to toe either. While Joshua tried to ko wlad in 5th round that back fired when he ate left hook

Joshua landed 107 of 373 punches against Ruiz Jnr

Joshua was a young man who said something dumb. He's allowed to mature in and out of the ring. There's no negative takeaway from Saturday, imo.

AJ apparently has the power to KO anyone. Fury is not a power puncher, therefore it is right to criticize AJ to deliberately box to a boring draw in comparison to Fury
