The public demands superhumans and that means drugs.. To exist, sport needs sponsors, but sponsors demand a squeaky clean image hence the sophisticated illusion of 'drug testing'. It's in everyone's interests to protect the status quo. Sport is business above all.
Imagine the financial repercussions if AJ was caught abusing steroids, millions of pounds worth of investments that had been banked on him would be lost. It would be in nobody's interests to do anything about it until they had to. It is like when Rangers went into liquidation, every other Scottish club before them that went bust had to close for good or restart as a new entity and apply for league membership and work themselves up from the bottom. When Rangers went bust Scottish footballing authorities did everything they could to keep Rangers in the premier league, then when it became clear that nobody would stand for it they tried to let them restart in the 1st division. However, nobody would take this and justice and equality was eventually served. It is the same with AJ he is by far and away the most marketable commodity in British boxing. The consequences of him being "caught" would be as bad for those who would have to punish him as they would be for him personally.
That's coz folks cross the line from speculation into actual libel and that can get the site owners sued. If you say "AJ has put on a suspicious amount of weight" then that's fine. If you say "AJ is definitely doing drugs" then you're open to a lawsuit, and potentially an expensive one.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CIyoiAQ2LU Anthony Joshua weighing in at 17 stone 6 vs Darch on 31st January 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gjhENR9KkI Weighing in at 16 stone 6 in October 2013 for his debut That's a lot in just 4 months.
Not even an ounce of fat either, if anything he has lower body fat in the second weigh in. Absolutely remarkable....
Can somebody please teach AJ to do a proper front double bicep pose? I've seen toddlers strike that pose better.
He's a big guy and some people can put on weight and/or muscle quickly. His appearance hasn't changed all that dramatically either so I'm not suspicious of his weight gain. I think what he has done is definitely achievable naturally. He could have used PED's of course but I don't suspect him any more so than I suspect the majority of top level boxers and sportspeople in general.
Any chance of personal training me then? I'm the same height and same weight as he was in the first video- wouldn't mind being the same size as the second....
People are all different but train like a professional and you might surprise yourself. On the other hand you might just be one of those people who doesn't have the genes for it.
Joshua has gotta be on hgh with that gut. Whyte is suffering from a bad case of gyno. Ped's are all over the place at the highest level of all sports.
