If he agrees to it again it’s on him, although I don’t like the fight being delayed I knew this fight was not gunna take place till at least 2019. If I was advising Wilder I would tell him don’t sign now, when they come back you will get a better offer that’s what history tells us with these big fights.

I think both men are at fault and we as fans are being played to make this fight bigger. Personally I’m not emotionally invested in this fight anymore, if and when it’s signed I will take it seriously.

I get that some don’t think it’s fair with the flat fee etc, but seriously, it’s just business.

The little fish always misses out, while at the same time getting well compensated.

Bare with me here, but look at Oren Peli; he’s the creator of a huge film franchise. He created the idea, wrote it, directed it, and edited it. He was even the DoP. He also funded it.

Guess what happened when it came to doing business with a monster studio company. They offered him life changing money (he’s worth 30 million dollars). Guess how much the studios has made. Nearly 900 million dollar.

It isn’t fair, but everyone’s still a winner. The alternative is for him to cut off his nose....

Theres a big pot of gold waiting for Wilder at the end of the rainbow that is Anthony Joshua, Wilder just gotta step through him to get to it, but Wilder being Wilder is demanding that pot of gold be brought to the start of the rainbow.

A side gives B side a poor deal, its been acceptable in this sport for a long long time. But not now? And i agree with others Wilder deserves a percentage split but 15 million isnt so bad. The important thing is he is being offered by some way his biggest ever pay day and the chance to beat Joshua and become the American Anthony Joshua with all the riches and fame that comes with it. But he cant accept he isnt the joint A side and not even close to being it.

Love how you quote the lowest PPV for ONE of those fighters in GGG. He sold over 150k against Lemeux (only his send PPV card), over 170k against Jacobs. Pac and McGregor were already PPV monsters. Remind me again how many PPV's Wilder has sold? You can make predictions on him selling PPV's and his apparent worth all you like, but you've just stated inadvertently that his star power has increased because he's being mentioned along side Joshua. British fans don't give a crap who Wilder is, they will buy his fights regardless.

That's because they fix fights, gamble illegally, and pay him under the table. Wilder is a happy Carnera.

Forget Wilder not fighting Povetkin or Joshua............he turned down a career high pay day to fight Whyte FFS!!

They do care about Wilder that’s just a fact. His name is tied to AJs and they care about AJ. More people know Wilder than they do Parker or any opponent AJ has fought that isn’t Wlad, therefore more people will tune in to watch him.

I can see any debate with you is pointless, you don't even know the difference between fact and opinion.
The sun will come up tomorrow is a 'fact', British boxing fans giving a crap who Wilder is to the point his star power generates more revenue is an opinion... Actually, no, it's not even an opinion. It's pure fantasy.

Alright man if you don’t think Wilder is AJs biggest fight then it’s pointless talking to you on this topic too.

after weighing everything out, i think 15 million is a fair offer. the situation is not the same as it was when other fighters were hashing out similar differences, wilder has done little, to make beating him a noteworthy historical accomplishment. aj ices him, he fades off into relative obscurity, and everyone will point to his resume as proof of the obvious outcome. he ices aj, he is the undisputed king of boxing, writing his own ticket. and even if he lost and disappeared, 15 million is still a great career for the quality of work you left behind.
