Joshua should have done as Apollo Creed in Rocky I , concussed and KOed in the first round who however hammers Balboa for the rest of the match. Instead it was Ruiz/Balboa who after that lucky? shot has hammered him! Lol
AJ's confidence got seriously shattered in that loss. He is trying to build it back up, trying to convince himself that he still the man. If you listen to anything Joshua says is always something about focus, state of mind, projecting self motivation and all that BS. If he accepts that Ruiz was better than him that night then he will go in there in the rematch and fight scared., he dont wanna do that.
That Ruiz was better than him its sure, but truely he made mundane errors! Hope for him he can win the rematch.
I can get behind that as a motivation, yeah. But there's a difference between admitting that you made mistakes and dismissing your opponent entirely. I understand needing to rebuild, but there's a correct way of doing it.
One loss and the false stay humble mask slips off. He can't accept that he got battered and quit, which is why he is lashing out at the likes of Lewis for offering constructive criticism. I hope Ruiz does a serious hard number on this fraud in the rematch.
I don't think AJ is ready for the rematch I'm not joking. I have a feeling no immediate rematch. I hope I'm proven wrong
One lucky punch after another, huh? My advice to Joshua: "You're going to need to be twice as lucky next time to beat Ruiz. You'd better start training your luck right now. Put a horse shoe over every door in your gym and no fewer than three rabbits feet in your corner at a time. I don't want you to load your gloves with four leaf clovers, but maybe check with the commission to see if you can sew some into your trunks or if that's considered a PED."
Interpretation of Joshua's words: I could expect a similar shot from Klitschko so I never would be remained concussed but not from Ruiz. The fact it started from Ruiz, not expecting it, has concussed me! It can be. Lol
