Think he has rewatched the video of the match hundreds of times, he will not be unprepared as in the first.
However one thing is certain if he wins for KO, he'll annihilate Lewis vs Rahman II. Lewis was not so underdog as him.
Embarrassing, absolutely embarrassing. When Amir Khan said similar about Garcia after we watched Garcia punch him senseless Khan was called delusional, stupid and a total tosspot... by me. Same applies here, AJ is delusional, stupid and a tosspot. So all that rubbish he said after the fight about "no excuses", "he beat me fair and square", "Ruiz was the better man on the night" has been replaced with "lucky punches".. what a total clown. I hope Ruiz smacks him silly again, I'm getting sick of AJ and Hearn to be honest.
He said A lucky punch too. Even though he was knocked down 4 over 4 rounds before he was stopped lol. He’s in denial
Kltischko: AJ only hit me with a lucky punch. Povetkin: Well, he only hit me with a lucky punch too. A line begins to form.
I'm pretty sure that he's referring to the shot that got him in trouble when he attempted to press for the KO, although I wouldn't call it luck but I can see why Joshua would call it that. I'm certain that Joshua won't attempt to go for the kill under any circumstance and now he'll be overly cautious to avoid any future lucky punches
LOL Ruiz must be part rabbit because he lit AJ up with "lucky" punches all night. I'm not saying AJ can't win the rematch but with this attitude he's going to overlook Ruiz and get splattered again.
Is there such a thing as a lucky combination? If AJ really thinks that then he is not going to mentally prepared for the rematch. You dont get knocked down 4 times with lucky punches. That 3rd round punch wasn’t lucky either, Ruiz just countered on the inside and won the exchange, which was the pattern in the fight. If AJ doesn't think he needs to adjust because Ruiz was simply lucky, he is in a world of hurt.
His true feeling on it were bound to come out, his initial response to losing was too perfect. People even felt it was strange. He clearly didn’t accept the loss as well as he liked the public to believe.
If anyone landed a lucky punch it was AJ when he dropped Ruiz. These latest interviews are a bit concerning tbh. If AJ thinks he can win with no adjustments this will be an easy win for Ruiz and even easier than it was first time out. I reckon though Hearn tired of all the humbleness and humility AJ was showing, I reckon he's told him to turn heel to help sell more tickets. But this bs about just doing more of what he did in he 3rd, its just gonna end with him on the canvas again.
No luck involved Ruiz threw that first punch that shook AJ with intent However i dont believe even Ruiz thought it would leave such an effect on AJ As i say not luck but a bonus it banged him on the temple
