easily & I'm no big fan of the big stiff idiot. In the words of Tyson Fury "He'll punch his head right in for him, no problem" He'll break straight through his guard & finding the guard isn't hard with such a size difference. AJ's slow feet are his biggest disadvantage but Usyk is hardly spritely these days. Would we agree Usyk at cruiserweight was a bit of a slow methodical pressure fighter who could jib jab around on the backfoot ring circling when needed. He'd break people down slowly. Usyk was even happy to take a punch or two if he could make his opponent work harder and tire. Agianst AJ he is going to revert to jib jab ring circling for 12 rounds just to survive and collect his paycheck. He'll exploit AJ in pockets where the big stiff idiot gets sloppy and out of position but that is the only success Usyk will get. For Usyk to win it would require AJ to bring his worst game. Get clipped and hurt. then gas out. All of that.
So you think Usyk is just showing up for the paycheck? And if Usyk does win, it means that Joshua was at his worst?
Usyk is coming to win but he'll accept it's a hurdle too far after AJ Slams his right hand through his guard on him & look to survive. Yes AJ has to be at his worst to lose this fight & if he isn't I'll admit I'm wrong & pay respects to Usyk.
Usyk won't beat Joshua on the Chisora performance. I do expect a late round stoppage for the bodybuilder, sooner or later. Usyk is better suited to the cruiserweight division.
Usyk's footwork was like nobody else at heavyweight against Chisora. Levels above. People talk about Usyk's age as if he is ancient. He was born in 1987, Fury 1988, Joshua 1989, Wilder 1985, Whyte 1988, Chisora 1984, Hunter 1988 and so on. Usyk would make Fury look as slow as anything.
Your quick and accurate footwork goes out of the window when you have such a reach and height disadvantage. A small step forward needs to be more of a leap to move in and out of range suddenly. At Cruiserweight Usyk would like to pressure and sit that inch out of range, draw shots and follow up...hard to do against a man of AJ's size. Even sit just one the edge and takes shots off his guard to follow up.
"Walk through" eh? Prepare to eat some humble pie ... Oh wait, it's Fury in his avatar! Pies are what he wants! We've been played!
Well, A.J looks that does struggles with opponents if they are not enough old or like this. Scenario No1: A.J does keep Usyk at distance all fight and gets decision win. This is quite possible. Regardless will this be 120-108 or 115-113 fight huge bunch with fans then will post: fraud had been exposed, ass kicked, sent him to Ukraine etc stuff, usually posted by poor ppl or ppl in huge debts. They might call Usyk as a dish washer, fraud and like this. This is normal, pro boxing fans in general are far more stupid than soccer fans per se. Scenario No2 : A.J goes for stoppage early and at least gets KD, A.J wins this one, bunch with ppl here will call Usyk as walking boxing bag, absolute fraud who never had fought vs any one in all his life etc like stuff. Boxers fight in pro boxing for $ and Usyk not likely ever will read any post in this forum. LOL. Scenario No3 : A.J goes for stoppage early and fails, starts to gas out. Then holy money cash cow in body builder will get what is difference between " puny pillow fist " Usyk and even Parker, not alone his geriatric opponents and short notice opponents, LOL. He will get even difference that 41 years old Wlad was lazy ring rusty big name out of retirement reanimated by Eddie to bring his resume up better. LOL. Then A.J will lost via stoppage and Eddie will activate clauses. Are there chances that Usyk might KO/TKO AJ in 2 or maybe even 3 fights in row? NO. End of the game: sooner or later belts still will be with A.J, btw no one in big business needs this Usyk to be in HW TOP, he isn't Okolie, Buatsi, Benn or other prospects like this. Usyk sooner or later will fail this game and this is only normal thing. In pro boxing a mega stars should be from mexico, US or at least from UK. Nothing wrong, pro boxing is only about pay checks not ****i******** legacy, 0 or not 0 records. To entertain us. Like in cinema etc.
Parker and Usyk are similar in size and AJ wasn't able to walk through Parker and destroy him. AJ will be similarly cautious against Usyk so I think it will go to decision. AJ will probably have the same bodyguard referee in there to jump in between them whenever Usyk gets inside lol
AJ is not the one who needs protecting in this fight. Usyk doesn't want to get close at all. AJ might actually be willing to explode or wrestle out of a clinch with Usyk in close like he used too before Ruiz flopped him.
