Floyd does/did it. Canelo does it. AJ is now doing it. All 3 sit - or were sat in Floyds case, farce fights aside - at the top table. People challenging are/were happy to accept crumbs that in real terms were life changing. It's just the way it is.
Ah, I thought it might be a complicated issue but I see it isn't. It's just that people aren't educated enough and that people hate successful people. Naive of me to think Matchroom might be in the wrong a little.
AJ is for sure the A side over Wilder and Fury. He has by far the largest portion of the belts and consistently proves he is a bigger draw than the other 2 too. We need to ignore anything Wilder says on this subject because he has claimed he is the A side for a number of reasons including "Im the A side now because i fought Ortiz, Joshua hasnt fought Ortiz" and "Im the A side because im an American". He dont want to admit he is the B side so he wont admit he is the B side he will just keep coming up with new reasons why he is the new A side and his manager Finkel will keep ignoring Hearn and Joshua until Wilder manages to do some numbers that come atleast close to Joshua's and then he will make an offer to Hearn and Joshua to have a fight in the USA under Al Haymons promotion.
