AJ is the only one who can beat Fury

I know this is a troll thread but it's now beyond doubt who would win a fight between the 2.

Joshua would get brutally stopped.

It's a shame we won't see AJ-Fury. Would have loved to see them fight a trilogy.

 

Let’s have it right, Ruiz got lucky!
I know it’s a comfort blanket for those who just want to write Joshua off but we all know that Ruiz threw a wild left hook while under extreme pressure and it very fortunately landed on the button. Most Heavyweights would have been ended then and there but Joshua got up and tried to recover hence the next 3 knock downs making his defeat look many times worse.

AS FOR WHETHER Joshua is a serious challenge to Fury, of course he is!
Joshua isn’t one dimensional, he has good boxing skills and he carries firepower in both hands via a multiple of shots Hooks, Uppercuts, Overhands etc and he throws in 3 & 4 punch combinations.
Joshua has shown that he can go 12 rounds, he did so Vs Usyk despite being completely gassed by the end he still went 12. Fury will not fight at the same pace as Usyk so I don’t believe that Joshua will gas vs Fury
Joshua is a naturally big man who’ll come in for a Fury fight somewhere around 246lbs unlike Whyte and Wilder who packed on unnatural weight in an attempt to match up with Fury.
If Wilder can get up close enough to land big shots then Joshua who has better footwork, judges distance better and throws straighter punches will get to Fury enough to be a real threat.

Is it a tough ask for Joshua, yes
Is he the favourite, no

 

Joshua doesn't have the mental strength to go to war with Fury. Joshua also likely loses to Usyk again, and this time by stoppage. Usyk has the best chance in beating Fury, but will lose. He's just too small for Fury who will lean on him and drain him to a boring UD. That fight won't be entertaining, but it will likely be a Fury win. The best fighter's chance in beating Fury was Wilder, and we all know what happened there.

 

peak Joshua, in his 20s (e.g. roughly as he was during the Klitschko fight), would have had a fair chance if he'd tried to end the fight one way or another within the first few rounds, tried to use his size and speed to rough Fury up. little to no chance now though, the new slightly smaller , slower, Joshua, reinvented as a 'boxer' of sorts, would be easily picked off or outpointed from range.
