Its becsuse Sky beef him up to be some sort of God In and out of the ring. The way he carries himself like he Is the son of Zeus.

He has done nothing out of the ring to show that he Is a special person. Yet he portrayals himself like we should respect him because hes knocked out old men. Unlike Muhammad Ali. That man was a really special human being.

Oh and Joe Louis for knocking out Jack Schmeling during the Nazi uprising In Germany.

Ortiz turned down the chance to step in as an alternate for Miller and Wilder turned 100 mil to fight AJ, so those questions are both well answered imo.

He had one bad night, there’s plenty of his other fights that show he can handle pressure. Also joe Frazier would get steamrolled by Joshua

No one is gonna get this high a level in boxing if fighting isn’t in them. Funny how this is completely based on one bad night

I've seen three underwhelming nights in a row.

His strategy to engage Ruiz in a jazzercise contest in the return was an admission of his submissive state in terms of fighting.

Very good fighter and resume but his media trained persona is really off-putting and just comes across as so fake. I genuinely liked him at first but I just can't warm to someone whose whole personality is an act and whose every word reeks of insincerity. Even when he tries to be more real it comes across as phony too. His nice guy act comes across as fake and so does his trying to be more real and street one lol.

Fellow HWs like Usyk, Joyce, Parker, Dubois, Bakole and Price all come across as genuinely nice guys and even though Fury has his demons so does he too, whereas I'm not sure I can say the same about AJ.

yeah exactly, I guess the hate he gets is probably more down to people not really liking his fake nice guy persona more than anything else. His nice guy act is pretty thinly veiled.

I like AJ because he has flaws...He is not someone holding onto an O as he has been down and out.
Always makes for an exciting fight whenever he has average opposition

No. He merely needs to be The Boss in the ring.

I'll even take a step back and acknowledge that his career is an incomplete work. Maybe he puts it all together and taps into the spirit that got him off the canvas against old Wlad and puts away Fury in emphatic fashion. Let's see what the future holds. I'm still suspicious that what we saw in MSG is immutable.
