if you saw the face off today, AJ is not here to mess about. That was some intense stuff, he means business. Towering over Parker, you could see the evil side of AJ burn a hole in Parker.

No excuses this weekend. When Joshua destroys Parker, don't start playing down how good Parker actually is.

AJ plays for keeps and we all know he is to big for Parker but it will be interesting to see what Parker can land in the pocket. He cant fight AJ from distance, AJ would control that situation but inside is the only chance he has. Parker will be aggressive here but AJ is too much for him.

Get off Joshua's dick. Parker didn't look fazed at all.

This assumes that we all think highly of Parker to begin with.

Kiwi Joe has a window of opportunity to confound my expectations here, and I would commend him if he were able to do so, but I expect a clinical performance from Joshua.

I'm not even an anti-AJ guy, I always willed him to do well because his world class potential was obvious and I saw him as a great foil for Tyson Fury down the line, but Deontay Wilder is the chief acid test for Anthony (until Fury returns, at least).

It's funny because everyone is saying Joshua NEEDS to fight Wilder, Joshua is the one who has been searching and collecting belts, 2 unification fights in 1 year. Wilders been Champion for 3 years and hasn't searched for a single unification fight.

Wilder NEEDS to fight AJ, AJ is a Unified Champion, Parker is a tougher test than wilder, if the Wilder fight doesn't happen it's clearly from Team Wilder, you think all of a sudden AJ, the man who's been fighting in these unification fights has said, "You know what forget this, I'd rather avoid getting the WBC belt even though I've just collected every other belt against tougher Champions"....

Wilder needs the fight more than AJ.

AJ wants the fight more than Wilder.

There's NO TOUGHER FIGHT for either. AJ is DW toughest and DW is AJ toughest. Parker is on the level of Ortiz of a threat so both will have fought equal opponents, stop lying to yourself. Neither has been fighting bigger threats than the other.

I guess wlad can be considered the toughest opponent to date but there's only one of him and he's been beaten his last 2 outs.

AJ has DW problems and DW has AJ problem. The next year to 18 months will answer most of your questions.

Or you could just ask and I'd tell you what will happen

Joshua needs to fight Wilder, Wilder needs to fight Joshua, to state one is not tantamount to negating the other. With Fury in recess, they are each the other's chief doubter.

I will believe that when I see some tangible evidence of it. Parker poses little threat to Joshua, IMO.

I disagree. The longer both men stay winning, the more the pressure will mount to see them meet. Joshua is not immune to those pressures and expectations.

Fury returning could potentially alleviate the situation for him, though.

I'n not suggesting that he doesn't want the fight. I've always gotten the impression from Joshua that he wants to test himself against the best guys around.

However, to quote Tyson Fury, "It's not up to Joshua, Joshua's got about as much brains as in that bag of washing there. He gets told what to do..."

Wilder wants to fight. It's not a case of who wants it more, but rather a case of who isn't willing to bow and scrape to the other's boss, i.e. a standoff between Hearn and Wilder.

Ha ha ha, what a quote!

AJ looked cold alright, but Parker did too. I envisage a great fight, and I believe Parker will get the stoppage as I think AJ will come in heavy and gas. If Parker hurts AJ, he'll jump all over him.

I noticed in the face off Joshua stepped in as close as he could, and Parker literally had to lean back in order not to have there faces touching. Parker even took a step back from Joshua. Joshua looks very confident, Parker not so much during the face off.

ive never rated parker very highly, hes a solid contender though, no special effects, he could have a iron chin though and that may win him the fight, when joshua gases late.

Parker isn't very good, he's solid but imo the weakest champion and there are 5 or 6 fighters out there who beat him.
