AJ looked terrible!

    Tyson Fury will humiliate him. He'll make him look average. He is a boxers dream like Mr Fury himself said. His footwork, movement is basic AF.

    He looked slow, ponderous for the first 4 rounds. Then he came out in the 5th all guns blazing and managed to catch Klit then just GASSES out hahaha. Has one flurry of punches and the man straight gasses out. Klitschko should have finished him there and then easily. Joshua was done. Any other boxer with a natural killer instinct would have taken Joshua out either then or the round after.

    But Klitschko for whatever reason let him off and let him regain his energy back. Maybe he was tired as well. Old age getting to him.

    Tyson fury definitely beats him, his movement will have Joshua seeing stars. And I think wilder may do him as well.

    If he rushes Fury like that then Tyson isn't standing up to these punches, that's a fact. Fury has to move the whole fight. And he's hardly in shape to do that. He is capable, though.

    I disagree

    AJ was outboxing Wlad and landed body punches which Wlad failed to do.

    If Niether fighter got hurt I think AJ would have got a close deicison.

    This is the heavyweight division, it works different than any other division.
    Skill doesn't matter as much here and the skilled fighters don't belong in the same category as the likes of Rigondeaux or Lomachenko, but at the same time a fighter with the skills of Wilder wouldn't last in the other divisions.
    So by the standarts of the division, this was a great fight and a great performance by a young fighter learning more in one night than in 18 fights.
    And it went exactly like in my dream scenario, with Joshua winning because is better for boxing and Wlad leaving the fight with the appreciation of fans and his atg status cemented.

    While this is a good win, i am not sold on Joshua being some invincible tank. He showed he has stamina and pacing issues, his muscle bound physique will cost him against a younger fighter who can take his punches and hang in there in the later rounds. His chin is still suspect, if Haye and Wilder connect with the Hayemakers the fight could well be over.

    First off.. why this need to believe that he is invincible? No boxer ever is, especially at HW. Foreman knocked out people for fun and with ease and then came apart against an old Ali who had struggled hard in his past few fights. Lewis fell to a relatively inexperienced and clumsy Rahmen. Tyson got complacent and was flattened by Douglas.

    Nobody is invincible, boxing sure would be boring if that were true.

    Agreed, i think he has a punchers chance. AJ's chin is suspect and had it been Haye instead of Klitschko in round 6, there is no way Haye would have let AJ recover, he is a very good finisher.
