Do you pick and choose when you decide to believe Eddie Hearn? Also the quote “Of course it depends on the pay-per-view buys, but I would hope that a fight between Joshua and Wilder generates over £100m." is what counts. None of these fighters are PPV in the states. This is a fight which would held in the afternoon in the states. None of them are big stars in the states so what would the PPV numbers be? The hope is it would do great numbers but there is no guarantee at all that it would.
Wilder has come out recently and said 40/60 in Joshua's favour. Anyhow, it's besides the point; I don't see them agreeing on the split anytime soon. I really want to see the fight, but I acknowledge that Joshua's team are in the drivers seat on this one. Unfortunately for Wilder, anything Joshua does is mega money, so he can wait. Povetkin is a big fight, Whyte 2 is a big fight, Fury, should he return, is a big fight. I mentioned earlier that, should Haye beat Bellew, that is also a big fight. There are a couple of others, and after this point I'm sure they'll be a couple of other players throwing their hat into the ring. We don't want to wait that long, but this is the reality that Wilder has to face.
Wilder's problems in getting this fight are his own doings.....even if he does 'truly' want this fight. His inability to fight one credible opponent in 39 fights is why he is where he is.
Shut up twat. Such completely different subjects its unbelievable. Pay gets based on peoples work history, knowledge etc. Which is based over the previous days/years etc. Now Joshua has put in the work (3 titles to 1), taken the risks and gambles and big fights to be able to be in the higher position. I wonder what you do for a living when you come out with something so stupid and to not have an understanding in any way. Still to help you along, I will work in your alternative universe. You have Wilder who given a work offer over 8 x more than his best day and working at the same level as Bob and Dave on the floor above, doing the same role (that is Joshua in this case. See how simple I am making it for you?). Only thing is. Bob and Dave have put in more service for the job, in that they have made more money for the company, done more to get the level they are at and taken the risks needed to be respected in the position more.. In simple. Joshua has won 3 titles. Joshua is the money fighter. Joshua has more to lose (3 titles to 1). I doubt you ever got promoted too far with that whole sense of entitlement attitude. Im sure if Wilder had of beaten Klitschko, Martin and Parker to win 3 world titles he would be in the driving seat, but he hasnt. Joshua has and has more to put on the line and lose. If Wilder can beat Joshua he will have got with that figure mentioned, over 8 times more than he has got ever and be in the position to call more of the shots if he had it all to lose
Lmfao "shut up twat" look at this Eddie Hearn and Joshua fanboy throwing his toys out the pram. This is serious business for Matchroom casuals.
I couldnt care less about Hearn or Joshua, just couldnt get over your big boy comments and now when its broken down for you, how you cant come back with anything other than fan boy lol. Why does it make someone a fan boy when they point out facts? It doesnt. You have shown yourself to be a defensive fan boy of Wilder when facts have been put forward to you and to top it off cant come back with anything to back up your initial quote. still you LYAO and try and figure out why one would get paid more than the other. Hopefuly it may sink in but I expect anyone that can see sense will be a fan boy to you. Once again 1 title. 3 titles. Fact
The titles are irrelevant. They are Fury's titles anyway. How does a belt won against Charles ****ing Martin have any value? If Mayweather came back tomorrow to fight Jarrett Hurd at 154, would it matter that Hurd had the belts? Joshua's belts are actually worthless.
so if fury never returns nobody can ever win a title? Its getting more ridiculous now lol. Fury vacated various titles and pulled out of 2 fights and then hasnt fought since which is a shame but how it is. Hopefully we will see him healthy getting on with his life You dont even realise how you are tying yourself in knots. Mayweather would be the money fighter against Hurd. The fighter who historically had taken more risks, taken bigger fights and won more titles previously. Your own shop floor argument beating you again. Joshua is the money fighter, who has taken the more risks fought bigger fights and won more titles. You could use the Martin argument in any form. A world title has some value regardless who it is won against, but it isnt just who it was won against but also who it was defended against - Breazeale, Klitschko, Takam, Parker who were all top rated HWs as was Martin. Martin was an undefeated big punching HW champ. You could use the same argument with Stiverne that you used with Martin, but I am not out to knock someone and also it isnt just Martin that Joshua has beaten to win world titles. Should be making a bit more sense for you know. still dont bother replying unless you have something of value to add, or that is unless you feel you want to shame your further and get the last word in
Unfortunately for Wilder? Is a TWO fight deal averaging about and probably more than 25 Million that stressful? Lol Take into account it would take Wilder without losing about 6 years to cover around that ground. One win by Wilder out of the 2 fights would certainty make a third fight adding totals at least 40 Million for him... Yea poor Wilder he could just fight another 12 fights to equal the Joshua offer!
Lol at AJ willing to accept $60 mill flat fee. I'll admit that's one flat fee offer no fighter should refuse in this fight.
I don't care about who gets what and how much the fight generates. I want to see the fight happen and the only thing that interests me is why it might not happen... And that's likely because Wilder will price himself out. AJ vs Wlad was 50/50 of £30 million AJ vs Parker would have been less than that as it was in a smaller stadium and would have generated less PPV so likely 66-34 of £20-25 million. AJ vs Wilder will likely be around £30 million imo with a US TV deal. So if Wilder is offered £8.5 million that's 28%... Not a bad starting point but it should end up at £10.5-£12 million which is roughly 10x what he had earned previously and pays Joshua £18-19.5 million which is £3-4.5 million more than vs Wlad so still his highest pay day. Of course if it generated more than AJ-Wlad both purses should increase as a percentage deal...
