Joshua is limited. He can’t really help that. So musclebound and large that he’s never going to be a dynamic boxer.

He’s best continuing to improve his jab and stamina and the one thing we all desperately want to see is some actual head movement.

No trainer is going to do much better with him than RMc.

 

If it’s not broke don’t fix it.

 

Not sure how much you can gauge from that, it's just some light pad work.

He’s known as the chinny robot for a reason, don’t expect the big guy to pass the eye test outside of a sky branded highlights reel. Besides McCracken knows you can’t train CHIN, guy is a ticking time bomb ( made from fine China and wet tissue paper) hence avoiding wilder like the plague

 

McCracken is very very good, if there's a weakness in the AJ/McCracken partnership its AJ and his management. He's also carrying too much muscle, frame wise hes no Wlad, he could maybe drop the best part of a stone imo in muscle

 

McCracken is a quality trainer but let’s put things in perspective he used to lose his hair over the Cobra not protecting his chin , visibly aging throughout each training camp, despite knowing frochs mandible was made of limited edition sky iron from Svalbard.

Fast forward to now he’s having kittens every time the chinny robots walks through the gym door in the morning lest he snags his jaw on the light switch or brushes a heavy bag on the way past. McCracken clearly looks like a guy who is having sleepless nights hence the noticeable regression in AJs style towards safety first robot chin protector.

And why they’re cherry picking that fat PUDDING Dillian whyteleafe again for their next mega ppv - the guy who went life and death with (and lost to according to most students of the game) shot del chisora, the guy fury schooled twice when he was decent. Fury by contrast is going to America to fight the guy AJs team are on record saying they want none of.
