Do you think the resulting misinformation and reports about his condition prior to the fight was a deliberate "leak" so as to explain away and "lessen" the shock KO loss. Everyone appears quick to explain the loss but few are prepared to give Ruiz the credit. Can't help but wonder with the marketing money behind Dazn etc if this is a deliberate tactic so as not to totally undermine his star power ability and revenue generating potential
Bro, Joshua is a marketting product for the most part and Eddie Hearns is doing a hell of a job hustling people out of their money. Joshua would say "Ruiz deserved the victory because he was the better man" Hearn will in the backstage manipulate the media to believe Joshua was not fully himself for the fight. Hearns and Joshua have really long ambidextrous hands, one to manipulate the media, the other to give fans hand jobs till he parts with their money. Ever wondered why Hearns says Joshua wants the Rematch in the USA where he lost the belts, also Ruiz wants the rematch in the USA. So why isn't the fight happening since both fighters want it the same place? The truth is Joshua really doesn't want it in America, He just says what he is told by Hearns to sound tough. Sorry to burst your bubble but Joshua is fake and he is out-hustling most people to think he is a real champion. PS: I'm Nigerian.
AJ himself came out and said it was all bull**** he had no excuses.. Never let the truth get in the road of a good shrilling..
Personally I believe it was just AJ fans and supporters on social media, they couldn't understand it, couldn't accept it and looked for reasons and excuses. Lots of people lost face after all the crap being talked between AJ, Wilder and Fury fans and they couldn't just accept it.
