Don't you think this applies to most, they seek truth and attempt to remain impartial? You are not special and you 100% are affected by bias. Giving Marciano the edge over Joshua is about as clear an example as I can think of finding on a boxing forum.

No, most people seek what aligns with their preconceived ideas. It's psychology. People want to be right and don't want to accept the truth because it is ugly at times.

I provided reasoning for why I thought a proven atg beats an inexperienced 19 fight pro who went life and death with a 41 year old that hadn't even been in the ring for 1.5 years. If you have two fighters like Joshua and Marciano without knowing their sizes (just that they are both heavyweights) you would be an absolute moron to even think about picking the fighter like Joshua.

 

If you look at the compubox, Joshua goes from 53 punches thrown in rd 5 to 16 in 6, 18 in 7, 25 in 8, 21 in 9, 22 in 10, then 49 in 11.
