Weird list. I get Klitschko and Whyte being there as an ATG scalp and a hated rival but the rest don't belong. Ruiz II was a joke of a fight, same with Martin. Kingpin was a journeyman who is paid to lay down. His win Povetkin should be there as he was forced to adapt to a technically superior opponent. Parker was a decent win too, though it wasn't an exciting performance.

    Lmao so AJ’s top 5 wins in his own opinion are;

    1. Failure to stop an obese midget who didn’t even train for the fight
    2. One of the worst paper champions of all time who sold his belt for a payday
    3. Retired 41 year old who was 2 years’ inactive out of the ring
    4. Glass chinned gatekeeper
    5. Journeyman who loses to everyone with a pulse

    Embarrassing

AJ is the most overrated heavyweight in 40 years.

If Tyson Fury had not stopped his career, the question is whether AJ would have been champion at all. Of course he could try to win the WBC belt against Wilder. But everything I wrote belongs to the domain of "what if".

Even Breazele is a better win than Martin

In terms of performance, I'd say Klitschko. In terms of his career, it was Ruiz 2. That was a real crossroad fight for him.

It's not a strange list. Joshua doesn't mean "who were the best opponents I beat", he's talking about the wins that felt best or the fights where he felt he performed best:

    5. Kevin - Flawless victory in 2 rounds, no one else has done that to Kevin and he's been in with plenty of names, added to the hype

    4. Whyte - KO'd a rival who dropped and beat him in the amateurs, exciting war

    3. Wlad - KO'd an ATG in a title fight, had to get off the canvas, came back to win an exciting war, maybe Joshua's zenith

    2. Martin - Flawless victory in 2 rounds to win his first world title, no one else has done that to Martin

    1. Ruiz 2 - Avenged a terrible loss (his first loss) in an immediate world title rematch, historically rare, became a 2x HW champion, had to overcome serious demons, wide points win

Something you may notice is that four of these fights are from 2015-2017, with one from 2019. This suggests that Joshua sees his best days as being well behind him, that he's fallen out of love with boxing and that it was generally downhill post-Wlad.

It's miniq, preempting the downfall of the nandrolone abuser, at the hands of the middleweight.

'People forget koogs' 'Charles Martin was a wrecking machine on a 13 fight KO streak including a one round smash up of Tom Dallas before Big Josh dismantled him"

The funniest is Kevin Johnson on there, who had already transitioned to circuit journeyman by then.

Fury has a far better win against Johnson, who was still a contender then.
Fury has a better win against Whyte, where he wasn't hurt at all.
Fury has a better win against Wlad, where he fought in Germany as a stupendous underdog and wasn't almost KO'd.
And Fury would likely handle Ruiz easily, it would look like the Hammer fight.
And Fury would likely handle 39 year old cruiserweight Povetkin easily also. Young Povetkin might be difficult, but not the old slow one with half the punch resistance.

It’s top 5 performances not wins. Everyone settle down.

That’s not true. While he is not the goat he has had some pretty good wins & made a bucket of money. Great career in my eyes.

Best performances? I can see that actually.

It's far from his best win though.
