AJ next opponent?

Globally, I'd wager Wlad is still a bigger name than AJ actually.

 

I think the deadline for Wladimir's decision was probably last week, 3 months after they fought.
So, if I'm right, he's either said "Yes" already and they're thrashing out the details of the deal right now, or he said "No" and is about to announce his retirement at a press conference soon - and Hearn is possibly diverting the attention and holding back in letting that out to the public out of respect.

It's most likely going to happen.

Possibly, but in today's landscape of heavyweight boxing AJ is the man right now and getting bigger with each fight.

I would love to see AJ in with Wilder

Just simply for the fact Wilder is a glass jawed, uncoordinated and overhyped HW who has lucked into a strap and needs to be dealt with. The fight would be a nice 3 round KO win for AJ- as dramatic as anything and attract a lot of US fight fans to suck some thumbs.

Parker has been exposed and is not ever going to be the number 1.

Ortiz is now too old and too slow for what AJ has in store.

 

AJ is the man, but fighters legacies are defined by great fights and rivalries. No point being the 'man' on his own, he needs a dance partner. Wilder doesn't want to know, Parker has to deal with Hughie, Fury is in exile. Pulev and Ortiz don't exactly wet the appetite (mine anyway) and Klitschko would still beat them now.

They need Klitschko imo.

We all know Wilder will be bricking it against AJ

 

wlad rematch the most. 2nd option would be Ortiz wilder parker any of those 3 doesn't matter which.

 

Whyte's best chance of beating AJ was in their last fight when he was still a bit inexperienced and untested. This current version of AJ would spark Whyte out in the first couple of rounds. I don't believe Whyte has improved much since that fight and is too easy to hit.

 

Sadly even though I like Dillian, you are spot on....he is VERY easy to hit, and likely to end up some kind of vegetable in years to come if he is not careful.

 

Did Chisora give that interview before, or after, he beat his missus????

 

The only people that can give Joshua a life and death fight are Wlad and Ortiz. I would add Povetkin but his last outing was not impressive enough.

 

If Dillian had fought Chisora with 2-3 more years on the chin clock....no doubt in my mind that Chisora would have dropped him and stopped him in that fight. He was heavily caught and buzzed hard twice in the fight.

The only thing saving him was the greeness of his chin.

 

Vlad is the biggest money fight for Joshua by far. He is waiting on Vlad to decide because he wants another big money fight. This is a 50/50 fight, the first one was a war..................Joshua vs. Wilder is a complete mismatch and Haymon would never allow it to happen..............there is really no one else at this time. Povetkin has a chance, Ortiz has not looked that good lately, Pulev lost badly to Vlad. Parker would have some interest, but there are some new heavyweights coming up to challenge him fairly soon.........6 foot 9 inch Dychko, two time Olympic medalist, Sirenko in a few years, looking awesome right now, but needs more time. Teslenko? There are more..............
