As world champion AJ should be the man no one should beat that's what makes him world champ... Everyone seems to be quoting boxers saying they have no chance but I think AJ is beatable, Klitschko exposed weaknesses on him and top fighters now have something to work off... I think that wilder is a much tougher fight than people think... The whyte rematch is more about settling old scores and the build up will be fantastic which makes all the difference for me... As for whyte I'd like to see him fight miller next see if he has got what it takes against a mouthy charismatic yank! Exciting times on the hw division just need the promoters to make these fights happen

Ortiz is too slow on his feet and too old to cause Joshua problems IMO.... I'd like fury to return to his best but can't see it, that would be life or death... Wilder would be a brawl and a risk for AJ but I'd still like to see AJ mop up and take out pulev then Ortiz before the big fights...

Wlad didn't expose anything that wasn't already out there from fights such as Whyte.

I feel AJ takes far to many shots, and gets over excited when he trades. Whyte and Wlad couldn't finish him off, against a real fast puncher and finisher he would lose. It seemed to me that Wlad even was guilty of holding back a bit, thinking he had the fight won and could take it easier. What we have learnt is AJ gets hurt, takes a round or two off, then gets a second wind.

This is why I think that the pulev fight makes sense on so many levels... Gives AJ another big fight without major risk, if he goes in with wilder now how does it end?

Very badly and very quickly for Wilder. Would be shocked if he lasted more than 4 rounds.

I might think Wilder goes another round..maybe 5
He does have power, but as ive said a million times. If Joshua can get WK on the back foot he can dam well do it to Wilder and Wilder's power wont do nothing of the back foot. Wilder can only fight at range AJ did some good body work in the Wlad fight and was able to find the uppercut when it mattered. Aj was able to read WKs left hook and remove that as a factor. Wilder has less weapons he can do that to him. He can take a shot and get back up...Hurt by Whyte, survived, Hurt by Wlad survived against probably the biggest puncher in the division.... Destroyed lower tier fighters like Molina, Wilder has been rocked by several of em. Throws tight quick combinations, Wilder has a quick straight and a jab after that he's all over the shop.

Joshua has more ways to win end of - its 80-20 in his favour.

In terms of next opponet, Pulev is fine. Winable has a solid record but shouldn't be anyone for AJ to fear.
Wilder wont make the fight untill he either see's a major flaw in Joshua, or he wants to cash out. The likes of Breazale would fancy themselves against Wilder....Beat Pulev then he could take on someone of his choosing really. Maybe a Whyte rematch to generate some $ or go after Parker if he still has the belt.

Why not wilder in November. Neither have a fight lined up for November. Pulev would be happy with being paid step a side money as long as it's in the contract he is next in line. He was next in line anyway but I thought Vegas in November would have been good against wilder.

Pulev has stated he won't take step aside money and that he wants the Joshua fight.

Joshua/Pulev with the winner facing the winner of Parker/Fury early next year would be decent. Wilder clearly is happy doing his own thing Stateside.

AJ wouldn't need to pay step a side money if it was a unification would he? Since these take priority over mandos?

I believe this is the case.

However I would be very surprised if Joshua were to fight Wilder in November, I think Wilder will fight Big Baby Miller before he goes near AJ, the Miller fight can be built nicely and end up being a handy payday for him before putting it all on the line again Joshua.

Also, any news on who Wilders mandatory is going to be? Last I heard was it was Stiverne but the negative reaction to that fight apparently may mean he will fight a final eliminator, against Ortiz or Whyte maybe?

Eddie Hearn has basically confirmed it will be pulev... Part of the negotiation with IBF was that if Klitschko fights falls through then Pulev gets his shot. Personally I'm looking forward to the fight, can't imagine the fight taking place anywhere other than Britain, probably Cardiff. Hopefully a great card and another chance to attend before they hit US....
