Thanks for posting the ring entrance. I missed the fight live and I wanted to see the whole thing.

Ring walks are for casuals

 

In my mind ring walks should be for the fighter (it should mean something to them). Hate all the overly elaborate **** but really dug when he came out to Juicy for the Klitschko fight (feel like it fit the tone of where he was in life really well)

 

I've seen a chicken walk by Joshua in the 3rd round after USyK landed a right hand on his head.

USyk is the best fighter around and after the rematch the bodybuilder will retire.

I think he spent a little too much time working on his ring walk and not enough time preparing for Usyk. The loss looks good on him. How can't you root against a guy after that display?

 

He looked nervous as hell, I almost changed my pick as soon as they showed his eyes.

He was very stiff and was using up his legs when he was shadowboxing.

Plus the song doesn't have that epic feel you want for a major event like this, it's like a song to listen to when you're driving into training not when you're about to have one of the greatest tests of your life.

The robe/outfit was very strong though.

 

Pyrotechnics and a tune from a Rocky movie? Now there's a first. Real off-the-wall, creative stuff, loaded with interpretive flair and spiritual/emotional resonance.

It looked great, no doubt.
I didn't like the fist bumps and hugs with the crowd though. Too many distractions when you should be focused on one thing only.

This is Tysons best ring walk. Absolutely amazing.

When he throws the hood back and somebody puts the hat on his head I couldn't stop laughing.

 

I'm not sure that ring walk was good for him.It's the same as what Usyk was talking to him - everyone knows you, even grandpa on the streets know who you are, you're great, you superstar.All that to raise him higher and then the surprise and the fall was too shocking for Joshua

 

Yeah I always liked that cheesy song. Not sure it works for him though, it wasn't the Rocky 'winning' song, it was the song that played when he was thinking about Apollo being smashed up by the eastern European.

Wonder what he'll come out to in the rematch? Has he done all the Rocky tunes at this point?

 

Agreed, shades of the first Ruiz fight when Andy was acting starstruck asking if he could hold the belts.
