    Bud I'm a boxing fan and it's not a d1ck measuring contest

I'm just saying that top ufc cards outsell any active boxer today

Obviously if Floyd made a return he would sell more

Don't forget Conor v may was close to the Manny numbers too

I swear I love boxing more and want it to thrive. I just don't get why boxing fans are putting down other top fighters for low numbers. They should want the numbers high to help the sport and generate top fights

It's no secret now I don't love matchroom (I actually do like Aj himself), but I'm glad Saturday night was a success

Bt sport done the same thing with ufc, but then they decided to charge for 'super fights'

I think there is too much money for AJ v Wilder/Fury to show it just subscription based

Who knows, maybe they will keep it and hope a lot more sign up

Just have to disagree especially after the Connor loss and he was the only one doing good numbers

If you dont understand what I'm saying? Than something is wrong with you. UK ppv is very cheap to buy compared to u.s ppv especially on HDTV which is around 74 bucks to buy. Do I wish the u.s ppv are just as cheap as uk sky sports ppv? Hell yeah but it is what it is. The fact remains is that for those bragging about Joshua vs Ruiz did over a million buys while wilder vs ortiz rematch did under 300k ppv buys is misleading because of the cost of those ppv to buy. I would've bet Joshua vs Ruiz rematch wouldn't do around a million buys if it cost 74.99.

This ole cherry is always brought up but its pretty irrelevant as for all you know US$74 might get you the same buying power as 30 pounds as the cost of living is greater...

If this is the case than it 1:1...

Plus the fact that the networks do ALOT of research so they know where the sweet spot is for maximum revenue so this would be the price they could get away with without affecting the sales that much. i.e. if they made it cheaper the extra buys wouldn't make up for the lost revenue at this price.

SO if they make it cheaper it wouldn't sell that much greater...

Wilder would need to do 700k ppv buys at $75 to match that. Which will happen, if he fights AJ.

And for the guy saying is cheap, we’ll keep in mind that it’s 1.6mil out of a population of 70mil? That’s over 2% of the country who paid to watch it, and most were gathered in groups so it’s probably more like 10-30% of the country watched it.

About 0.001% of the US watched Wilder.

Not hating on Wilder, he’s actually an attraction with his KO reel but let’s call a spade a spade, Joshua is a FAR bigger draw than Wilder. And IMO a bigger draw than Canelo.

Only in a population of 300M ?? And it will still make less than AJ did in 60m population in the UK Ouch!!! Lmao!!

They should be doing x 5 considering the population.

If Wilder vs Fury does do 3m PPV then they have failed and are losers!
