The word on Twitter suggests it's likely to be Wach.

Should this to be transpire to be true, what's the thought?

I reckon it will be stopped by ref for sustained punishment

50% chance its a proper KO

Cracking fight considering AJ's experience, Wach is as tough as they come with a genuinely powerful dig.

Yeah Eddie mentioned it on the latest IFL interview. Said it was close but not signed yet.

    think he's injured?

AJ's listed 3rd down on the card behind crolla and quigg, so I think he'll be up against a love / gavern level of opponent with Wach lined up for September.

Wach should be interesting. If AJ blasts him out it will certainly add to the hype, If he wins late or goes 10/12 rounds it'll be a good learning experience too.

With degale looking for a big fight then, will eddie try PPV this? as its pencilled in for sept 12th, they can add Mayweather's card to it too.

Won't be whyte for July - hand injury plus if Wach is signed for sept they'll put him in with someone...less dangerous.

    im not so sure

Wladimir would have murdered him if he threw combinations like he did 10 years ago, and that is exactly what AJ does

A ref stoppage isn't a possibility in a Klitschko match now, because once he hurts them with 1 punch he just leans on them and gives them 15 seconds to recover... repeat ad nausea

Wach didnt fight back against Klitschko

    He won't be fighting back

It will be like Vitali vs Danny Williams

Wach might move around a bit just to make it a bit of a challenge to land some punches, but overall its a mismatch

But there is nothing else Eddie Nandos Hearn can do, he has to fight these type of people and go through the process

He needs to get the British title this year. I would go that route. 12th December v whyte for vacant British title would be good. Hughie fury could possibly be a good defence next year.
