Wilder could still easily KO Fury and then the feline is right in amongst the feathers. I would make Fury big favourite to win again, but with Wilder's power and erratic style, he'll never be in a dull fight. It would be good to watch.
The bronze fraud would be wise to take any money offered.if he refuses fury should just bin the belt and go ahead with the AJ fight.he did say he would never fight him again after all.
Dropping his WBC belt doesn't change anything for Fury in this instance. His legal obligation is to fight Wilder, agreed in a contract between the two parties, nothing to do with the WBC enforcing Wilder as their mandatory challenger.
Fair enough. 3 years on from the first fight where Fury was still rusty as hell, I just don’t see it at all. It’s heavyweight boxing though so you can never say never I guess.
Fury was always going to fight Wilder again next- I was told this about 2 months ago by a boxer, I know who I bumped into. Hearn should face repercussions in the form of damage to his reputation, for blatantly lying his arse off for months about fight being 100% going to happen. He knew this arbitration was likely to go Wilders way. Frank knew it too, hence his “negative” updates - which as we can now see, was him just being indirectly honest. Arum knew it too..he told us a few weeks ago that they should forget the AJ fight.
Of course it can. Arbitration is a mutually agreed way to reach a decision without going to a full blown court case. Cheaper and quicker but can be a bit of a lottery. Resolution doesn't always follow the arbitration outcome.
This whole 3rd fight contract seems like BS to me. Wilder apparently had a deadline of December to arrange a fight which he missed. He's been dead for nearly a year since he got his backside handed to him last year by Fury. Now all of a sudden he manages to wake himself up and start demanding the 3rd fight. The guy should be sectioned. No one wants to see this failed basketball player in a boxing ring again.
