With both AJ and Fury having upcoming Box Office fights I'm interested in how they will do in comparatively in terms of numbers etc. First time that i can recall that they have been on a level playing field in terms of -

    Both Fights UK Time
    Both 'routine' title defences
    Both with no crowd
    Both in London
Both in the same month (December)

Who will do more buys? Naturally you'd assume AJ but Fury is now supposedly a huge star also both in the UK and USA.

Not to **** on anyone's parade, but boxing fans are so needlessly interested in the finances, numbers and marketing behind events. It's completely tiresome listening to fanboys boasting about pay-per-view numbers and purses. In fact, it's embarrassing.

The only thing I am interested in is watching the events and some of the build-up, if there's any authentic personalities involved.

I hear that and in the main agree, not a fanboy of either persuasion personally, just see a lot of pull in discussion about who is the bigger draw etc. so was intrigued as to who will do more buys on this occasion. Not that they are released officially anyway!

Probably Joshua. Sky is a bigger platform than BT and he’s a bigger name in the UK just about.

I'd be very surprised if Fury vs Kabayel does more PPV buys or anywhere near AJ vs Pulev. AJ has the 3 highest selling UK PPVs of all time and the number sixth too. Fury has never had a top 10 UK PPV.
