That’s what I’ve been told. Should be at Wembley or the o2. But those guys over there make the highest bid so what can we do? I can’t see myself ever going to a live event and not being able to have a few beers
Unfortunately with the pandemic they've got a convenient excuse. In normal times they'd get so much grief (and rightly so) if it was outside the UK.
Ideal scenario is that first two fights don't take place inside the UK and AJ wins one and Fury wins the other, then the final trilogy fight is in the UK.
We've known it would probably be in Arabia since December 2019. It has nothing to do with the pandemic. Las Vegas would be my preference.
Yep, all the site fee comments were made before the pandemic. Pandemic has given them a nice bit of cover to explain it away now.
Don't worry guys, I think regardless of the circumstances there'd be at least one of these fights outside the UK for ,money reasons obviously. The 2nd fight will be in the UK. I'm 100% confident of it.
I'm not so sure. I think there would've been enormous pressure in the media (and possibly from Government) to hold it in the UK if possible.
Just seen Fury's latest interview. He has said he will never fight in the UK. Good decision, fighting AJ at Wembley would be an away fight for Fury. Matchroom casuals would buy up all the tickets and the judges would be in Joshua's pocket. Fury is also a bit like McGregor, he's too big to fight in the UK. He has to fight in the US.
Haha, they've clearly got him to 'play the villain' to drum up a bit of interest. Reading the comment section I'm amazed people don't see through it.
From what I'm seeing from Fury it looks like he's starting to get pissed off with all of the "negotiations" and keeps relating back to things happening behind the scenes that people are not seeing
