Frank’s panicking because he’s only getting a tiny piece of the pie and he’d obviously hoped and/or assumed that the amount he’d make would be enough to get his company out of the financial strife they find themselves in.
It's been blatantly obvious for the last month or so that the vast sums they all want (the sums you see in the headlines) just aren't there at the moment. Nobody is prepared to lower their pay expectations. Apparently the Arabs aren't as free spending and willing to line the pockets of greedy infidels quite to the extent it was hoped they would.
These two multi millionaires just cannot get enough wonga. Thousand of PPV Mugths lining up to buy the fight and the excuses are wearing thin. Is there any limit to the greed?
Joshua has only been in one fight with any doubt of the outcome and that was Wlad at Wembley. The fact that a fat pudding beat him says it all. Josh Taylor a real fighting man.
Exactly that, Josh Taylor goes after the biggest fights he can and wastes no time doing it. Granted he hasn't got some manufactured media personality to preserve but the man is strictly business and I like that.
I agree, but people keep saying that AJ needs to be an away fighter, but why? Do you think Fury would be the away fighter if he brought in what AJ does?
AJ doesn't really need to travel. He generates crazy money in the UK. Also, he couldn't even beat Ruiz in New York, which was supposed to be his showcase debut in his stated campaign to conquer America. So possibly it's better to stay at home or go somewhere less daunting.
Good point, difficult to say. They’ve had quite different career trajectories. I think Joshua could do with a really solid ‘away’ win on his CV for legacy purposes. It’s not a great look being the home fighter all the time IMO.
Joshua's career will only be remembered to date for 2 fights - Klit at Wembley and more for being battered all over New York by a little fatty. He needs to beat Fury as his CV is pudding after pudding.
It's not difficult to say at all. Nobody moaned when Floyd was in Vegas all the time, because that's what comes with being the cash cow in the game. Fury was doing Amir Khan numbers before he beat Wilder.
I think his opponents have been exceptionally well picked. Arguably Klitschko was the only genuine risk. Every other fight would’ve been perceived as a likely win.
