You just know the Matchroom train will be all over this for Wembley in the Autumn...Or maybe even tap into the USA/DAZN thing and fight in Vegas after the farce of the Miller fight

Think of the highlight reel of first fight to 'build' the fight

It’s funny the way the Miller fight is called a farce too by the way.

Wilder and Fury are tied up. The rest of the top 6 consists of Joshua himself, Povetkin and Whyte who he’s KO’d the pair of them Miller...

There’s plenty of things to criticise AJ and matchroom for but you can’t blame them for being born in an era when Miller is top 6.

Won't happen, it was just a rumour, it was suppose to be Whyte Vs Klitschko and that was a non starter and somehow it's shifting over to Joshua.

    Anyway..

Joshua will have a mandatory at the end of the year if he don't fight the winner of Fury Vs Wilder.

So it will be AJ Vs Whoever next and then either Wilder/Fury or a mandatory at the end of the year.

No room for Klitschko even if they wanted to.

From what I understand AJ's second fight of the year will be either a unification fight with the WBC champ or the WBO mandatory (which is likely to be either Whyte or Usyk).

    If true
    First fight vs Miller
Second fight vs Whyte or Usyk or WBC champ.

Miller's done nothing to suggest he's top 6 mate, of top of my head Fury, AJ, Wilder, Ortiz, Pulev and Povetkin are better.

Ok so Boxrec have put Miller in at 6 solely on Hearn’s say so.

That’s boxrec’s rankings and 4 of them are ranked ahead of him. Only Ortiz and Pulev aren’t.

Washington on the Garcia Broner card.

Then he’s done a few on Hearn’s cards I’ve watched. Wach, duhuapas? And adamek.

I’m not saying he’s great, I don’t think so at all. But neither are the rest of them. AJ knocks them all out and early. The only question marks are Wilder and Fury. He destroys anyone else in the division.

I wouldn't be so certain, every fighter finds a bogeyman. Just ask Tyson or Lennox Lewis. This is heavyweight boxing.

I wouldn't mind this fight if Miller had a good win on his resume but he hasn't. Still can't believe he fought Adamek recently. He's a very lucky boy to be in the top 6 and it's a miracle for him that he's getting a shot.

If he's fought nobody and is totally undeserving, why do BoxRec and the Ring rank him so highly?

I mean, I'm not saying he's great; AJ is going to destroy him. But according to both of those organisations rankings, he's the highest ranked guy AJ can fight who he hasn't already beaten and is available. What do you want him to do? Pull better opponents out of thin air?

I've not said or suggested you're blaming Joshua.

I'm asking why, if this guy is the best available option according to two separate independent bodies, you're crying about the fight being made and dribbling on like some sort of complete imbecile about five fights a year?

That's not an overstatement either. Only a complete imbecile would even be thinking about suggesting 'he should fighting five times a year.' Which begs the question why you said it.
