Just watched it and I have got to say how refreshing it is to see two fighters acting like respectful human beings. Both confident and both not underestimating each other. Let's hope the fight is a good one, champion v Olympic gold medelest so has all the ingredients.

One is a World Champion who hasn't beaten anyone of note, and only won his title as a result of ridiculous boxing politics and his opponent essentially breaking his leg, without landing a punch.
One is a prospect who has looked great in all of his fights, which has consisted of knocking out washed up never-beens and a young heavyweight (who has never done anything, was coming off a 2 year drug ban) who injured himself in the second round after stunning Joshua with an unremarkable looking shot.
Also in regard to his Olympic medal, it wasn't really won on merit, Savon schooled him, but that's another story.

    "World championship" boxing everyone.

Ahh the positive vibes coming from you make me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Let's hope you never get a serious illness like say cancer because your positive energy will have that thing beat in weeks. Such a joy.

I couldn't have put it better myself.

Of course as a Brit, I'm hoping AJ wins, but it's an absolute farce. Tyson should never have been stripped.

This is probably the worst gloves are off I've ever watched. Eubank Jr vs O'Sullivan was really bad but this was even worse. Charles Martin acted like he's a boring mental patient. Shame I was looking forward to this. Such a disappointment.

He is a god you know, so he probably doesn't feel compelled to act a certain way for mere mortals.

Both very respectful of the other. Martin seems a decent enough kind of person despite his claims of being a god he never went negative or tried to really trash talk. I think he genuinely believes he can win the fight he isn't just showing up for a payday.

Joshua looked huge, I didn't think he was that much bigger than Martin. He looks hyped for the fight he was shadow boxing at the end you know he can't wait to get in the ring.

And what on earth was Nelson wearing, that top was so tight it must have been sprayed on.

So, what have I said that isn't true? It's not a PPV worthy fight, it shouldn't be for a world title. But other than that, it's an okay fight between two unproven heavyweights, one (Joshua) who I think will go far.

It's a refreshing thing to see to humble guys respecting each other instead of gangsta gangbanga wife beater types like Broner or Mayweather shouting I'm gonna pop a cap in your ass is all. By the way someone else said this is not a Ppv fight but us Brits get behind are fighters and the 02 arena will be sold out and lots of Ppv will be sold and I think Martin has already gained are respect instead of the brash let's show the poor people are bundles of money on Twitter fighters. Respect to them both.

They were respectful of eachother and connected at a good level, it's clear that after this is done, they'd probably be great friends.
Any animosity from here on is something they both understand as being a part of the territory, and they respect eachother for it.
