I had german commentary so no horse in the race. They were bored as **** but said Parker didnt grab it after early moments. Aj looking comfortable was their reason for his winning, Not that he boxed any ears off per se

4 to 6 rounds maximum in favour of Joshua

    Official scorecards were awful

7-5 Joshua. Thought all three officials cards were painfully wide. Didn't think Joshua was anywhere near authoritative enough in his jab or cutting off the ring to demand those scores, but I didn't think Parker closed the gap or took the fight to Joshua enough to win more than 4-5 rounds.

7-5 8-4 Joshua. But to be honest I wanted to see a draw. Been a long time to see two prime heavies in such a big match and neither guy seemed to want it. Disappointing in a major way. I rarely say that, I usually just judge by the book but both guys sh*t the bed. Awful showing in such a big fight I wish they would of both been sent home without the “win”

I had it 7-5 and expected it to be a lot easier for Joshua. I'd love to see Parker Wilder at some point now though to see if Deontay could crack Joe's seemingly iron jaw.

Round 7 from my memory could have went either way, I went with AJ but if you switch that round then I would have had 7-5. I can say after 10 I thought we might get a draw result, even posted as much a couple times in the RBR. I also said Parker is much better than I originally thought and would love to see him get a crack at Wilder. So we're on pretty close to the same wavelength here.

You can pick literally any round and either fighter and say they threw more punches with actual intent in that round than Hughie did in his entire 'fight' with Parker. That's not a compliment to them either. It just shows how bad Hughie's effort was.

    7-5 Parker.

I gave Joshua rounds 1-4, 12. I gave Parker 5-11. However, Parker didn't do himself any favors by slowing down in the last round.

Joshua paced himself a little better than he did in the Takam fight, but his punches had nothing to them after the 5th round and he still doesn't move his head and his jab still hasn't improved. Hopefully his team develops his jab more and get him to start moving his head.

As for Parker I think he'd be better coming in around 225-230 max. He was very soft at 236. It would help his stamina in fights were he has to pressure his opponents, since he started gassing in the 11th.
