Last nights fight changed nothing for me, both still unproven, both still yet to be really tested. So it's a 50/50 fight for me. We will have a better idea after Parker fights Takam. Takam is better than anyone either of them have fought by some margin. If Parker crushes Takam as easily he has other opponents then I think Parker being seen as the favourite wouldn't be out of the question. Hopefully Parker wins and sets up what looks like a terrific fight between the two best young heavyweights right now.
Parker has been hurt by lesser punchers and I'm starting to think Aj stops him. I hope I'm wrong though as I like Parker more.
This is the fights to make: Fury vs Klit Parker vs Joshua Haye vs Briggs Wilder vs Russian guy Exciting fights!
How is it possible when he hasn't been hurt? We don't know enough until Parker fights Takam... as someone else mentioned, if Parker beats Takam then he is more tested and proven than AJ but at this stage really AJ has to be the favourite given how he has performed at this level
Joshua beats a talented Parker I've a lot of respect for Parker, he's a solid prospect and I refuse to run him down. Short of a Joshua making a bad error or Parker getting very very lucky though there wouldn't be a major upset if the two met. Joshua's too skilled, too big, and has fast accurate hands which both have knockout power.
Whyte would maul and destroy takam. If AJ is untested to you, how is it possible for him to be tested ?,does being tested mean coming back from defeat to you clowns ??? Whyte had AJ legitimately hurt in the second round.. AJ took it like a great vet, protected himself and then went on to dominate every minute prior to knocking Whyte know to next year. The idiotic posting is starting to make sense now. He's passed every test with flying colors and now fights picture perfect. If those shots in round one weren't eye popping to you then those GREAT counter right blasts were lucky shots ?
Lol Can you explain what's "lol" about my opinion, how is Joshua untested???,exactly which part of any elite attribute of his many still untested
The Sky team last night seemed to think Parker was just a stepping stone when discussing future opponents.
Parker is still too green, he's 2+ years younger than AJ. He improves though. AJ has great power and size and good skills. To beat him you need to have some advantages like great speed and excellent defence. I pick AJ to beat Parker now, and probably early. Parker is certainly better than Martin though.
This is due to most sleeping on him. If he beats Takam in good fashion many will wake up. The opposite is in effect with Joshua. The media-driven hype and quick victories have convinced many he is going to walk through everyone when in reality he is still very much a work in progress who learnt nothing last night. His almost shrug-of-the-shoulders reaction to winning was an admission of what the victory really meant - not much. Martin looked slow and open before this was signed and that's exactly what he was. Parker lets his hands go very nicely and looks well-rounded. The problem for him in this land of giants is, with him being an upright boxer, he is going to have to work hard to cancel out his rivals' natural advantages.
