I knew it was going to be Povetkin next...loads of people called it. Wilder fight will happen just not yet.

 

Lol this is true but i dont blame them for trying to milk as much money as they can!

My misses was trying to get me to go to one of those 'evening with Joshua' events...not going to happen! Im a big Joshua fan but thats one step to far for me. Give it a few years, see how his career ends up then i will be up for it, until then not happening lol.

 

No I agree, plus in his downtime given most boxers lifestyles he must be leeching money.

It just strikes me as odd how someone worth tens of millions and whose busy forging a brand is willing to go to some boozy-smelling leisure centre function room full of coked up casuals on a Friday night, I had to double take when I first saw the advert that it was actually Joshua and not some "tribute" act lol.

Neither side wanted it next that's been very apparent for a while now. Hearn since last year wanted it late in 2018 and nothing he has said since has changed that, it's only Joshua who has been asking for it next and even that might be just bluster.

Even Wilder's last offer for 50 mill was for a fight sometime after Sept 2018 which means he would have time to fit in a defence vs Breazeale which we all suspect has already been signed.

Both sides have blown a lot of smoke saying it could be next but neither side has really tried to make it happen.

Joshua/Povetkin is a fine alternative though. Should be a good fight.

So don't try and pin this down on Wilder, when it's clear AJ/Hearn are terrified of Wilder.

 

This is an ugly, almost unreal and other worldly type of a mismatch. Anthony Joshua could literally, and I mean literally eat, devour and digest Povetkin like a snack. Sort of like a Godzilla or a T-REX vs a small mouse inside a Colosseum in a one on one fight to death. Except this mouse (Alexander Povetkin) will be charging right towards this T-REX / Godzilla (Anthony Joshua), only begging and asking to be destroyed and to have its existence ended by the T-REX / Godzilla (Anthony Joshua).

At least if Povetkin came to survive, he could prevent getting destroyed gruesomely, disgustingly and in horror like fashion and could instead lose on points or through less damage suffered. However, to his own downfall, Povetkin will come forward and beg to be a victim of one of the most disgusting sights in boxing history.

 

Are you an idiot the offer for 50 mill was for a fight in late 2018 not in the summer of 2018, so clearly it was not an offer for the fight to be next. How is offering a fight for after your next opponent Breazeale an offer to be next? Take your head out of Wilder's ass for more than a minute and you'll stop looking like a fool every time you post.
