Rumour now is it is going to be Andy Ruiz Jr against AJ that’s an awful fight is true. With what 7 weeks left that’s more than adequate for a heavyweight to get into shape to fight especially if they have recently fought or have been ticking over in the gym
Out of all the names ive heard rumoured, Ruiz Jnr is my favourite. I enjoy watching him fight, I do believe he will cause Joshua some problems before getting knocked out rounds 7-9. Could be a cracking fight in my opinion so I wouldn't mind this fight at all...I can definitely see how some people would be disappointed by this though.

Andy Ruiz would be a last, last resort. Hearn has already talked about the importance of looking in decent shape to the casual fan. He will get slaughtered by the casual's if it's Ruiz. Everyone saying Ortiz is ducking but Hearn was saying to Boxing News Tv that Ortiz isn't ideal as he's a slippery southpaw and Joshua has been training for an orthodox fighter. Says Ortiz would have the advantage as he's used to fighting people like Joshua, and fighters like Ortiz are harder to train for. 6.45mins through to 8.15mins This content is protected Maybe Ortiz isn't as shot as I imagine him to be. Well a few days ago it was rumoured Hearn wanted Kownacki (a New Yorker) to replace Miller but Kownacki's manager turned it down. Kownacki looks horrible. The average casual reckoned Miller was just a fat **** too.
True, but I'm just saying what Eddie said in an interview in the last few days. The interview might have actually been about Kownacki & his physique, not Ruiz if I remember correctly. Andy Ruiz looks infinitely worse than Miller though, and there's always the "Kownacki is Millers best friend" angle they can spin.
